EXCLUSIVE: Glee‘s Cory Monteith has signed with UTA. The Canadian-born Monteith was the last one cast in the Fox’s musical dramedy after producers had seen hundreds of actors for the role of quarterback/glee club lead man Finn Hudson. He became one of the breakout stars of the show and had been heavily pursued by the major agencies for the past three years. He was at APA. Monteith, a Teen Choice Award winner, co-starred in the Fox feature Monte Carlo last year and has a film in development at Fox 2000 for him to star in and produce. He continues to be represented by Elena Kirschner at RED Management and attorney Steve Warren.

from the looks of things, it looks like things were going very well.
I think it is interesting that this is the second client this week that Steve Warren has delivered to UTA.
Another Steve Warren client who happens to change his or her other representatives shortly after signing with him? You don’t say.
Let it be known.
I think he has a lot of upside as a talent going forward. He’s a hard worker and extremely likable.
Congratulations, Cory. You more than deserve the success!
I smell Oscar within the next 5 years
Cory is perhaps one of the top 5 young actors working in Hollywood today
I think it is so great that Cory has been signed by UTA. That is amazing good luck Cory.
Seems like APA was doing pretty well by him. Am I missing something?
Dan Baron is an honorable man.
He probably wants some bigger movie roles. Although his Glee schedule doesn’t allow for much outside projects.
APA Is the worst they have no ability to get their clients movies. Steve Warren is a bad guy and always screws over the mid size agencies. Very bad guy. His clients should no he is not to be trusted.
Really? They have a best actor and best actress Oscar nominee this year.
Then it means Cory made a good jump from APA to UTA.
This sucks, I know Dan Baron, even though I now work in Tech, I shared clients with Dan when he was at Metropolitan. He is without a doubt a man who makes things happen for his clients. And as much as I like Cory on a personal level, kid, it is a game of people who work for you with heart like Dan, and, unfortunately the balance who only believe in you when the fates make you a commodity. Dan fights and tips the scales in your favor. Look at Harrison Ford Cory. This is purely a sign of your lawyer and manager jockeying for points with others. You seem like a nice person, I just wished you believed in Dan as much as I am sure he believed in you.
He’s talking about apa with the nominees. Read much
