Actor-comedian Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation) is following in the footsteps of Louis C.K., bypassing cable networks to release his latest stand up special Aziz Ansari: Dangerously Delicious online. The 60-minute special, directed by longtime collaborator Jason Woliner, was filmed last year at The Warner Theatre in Washington DC as part of Ansari’s Dangerously Delicious tour. It will be available for download or stream for $5, the same fee Louis C.K. charged for for his special, which raked in $1 million in the first two weeks alone. Ansari also announced that he is going on a new theatre tour, Buried Alive, this spring.

Aziz needs to get his MTV show back… he and the other guy on The League aren’t funny without each other.
Not only is he funny without him, he’s probably the funniest working comedian this moment, in the room he is currently occupying.
If that room’s a padded cell…
Erg, Aziz is very unfunny. He is all attitude, no humor.
that is your opinion, and I disagree.
He screams his act, it’s not very funny nor is he. Just my opinion.
Aziz is very funny, his delivery might be a little manic or loud, but it is funny and the material is hysterical! Big fan, love Parks and Rec too.
Everybody’s jumping on the Louis CK “self distributed” comedy bandwagon… It will be interesting to see how many can actually recoup on the same level…
they are rep’d at the same place. I’m sure it wasn’t that hard of a sell, i’m sure it wont do as well but it should still do some business. Aziz is funny but CK is way funnier
most untalented actor on tv right now
