After Angelina Jolie told the world while promoting In The Land of Blood And Honey that she wanted to next star in Maleficent, things are happening quickly for the Disney film that will be directed by Robert Stromberg. Elle Fanning is in talks to co-star in the film as Princess Aurora, the sleeping beauty in the classic tale. Twitchfilm.com got the jump on this, and good on them because it’s true. Fanning was last seen in Super 8 and We Bought A Zoo and she’s repped by WME and One Talent Mgmt.

Fantastic news! Elle Fanning is a terrific young actress, and definitely has the chops to go toe-to-toe with Angelina. I’m extremely excited for this film.
Actually kind of like this after a second look. While I don’t think she is unattractive I don’t consider her exceptionally attractive either. Right now she is cute, but she does have a sweetness about her, even an angelic quality. That would play off nicely to whatever dark and menacing aura I’m sure Angelina is going inhabit.
She wasn’t great in Super 8.

Not only is this girl gorgeous as what but she’s also terribly talented.
