After four weeks of miniscule ratings on Saturday night, Fox is pulling the Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony reality series Q’Viva: The Chosen from primetime and moving it to Saturday late night. Q’Viva, whose original US broadcasts air on Spanish-language network Univision, started off its run on Fox with a .8 rating among adults 18-49 in the 8-10 PM Saturday slot and subsequently dropped to a .5 rating. Fox will replace the two remaining two-hour episodes of Q’Viva with Cops, which had been averaging a 1.2 demo rating in the time period. Meanwhile, the last two segments of Q’Viva will be trimmed to fit in Fox’s 90-minute Saturday late-night block from 11 PM-12:30 AM.

I’m a travel nut and a 60-something white guy who really enjoyed Q’viva. They showcased some real talent, but the big plus was getting a closer look at the various Latin cultures. It was a treat. I won’t stay up THAT late to watch it, though.
So much hate on J-lo when the show is about talent. I really loved it and don’t understand why they wanted 18-34 demos. WHY??? I am a much older latina and I really enjoyed the diverse talent from different parts of Latin America. I found it to be beautiful and informative. Many that were chosen to compete had a story, that was their one ticket out of the slums, poverty, abusive relationships, homelessness, final change to show a talent one else has heard.
The advertisment was poor, the time was poorly chosen if you wanted 18-34 because they don’t stay home on Saturday’s night. Get real. I didn’t even know they changed the time and was looking for it Saturday all over the place thinking I was mistaken.
I guess reality shows are more entertaining and that is what sells. I just wish another station would have picked up this show and given it more justice.

It’s about time you they put on a Spanish show. I love it and can’t wait for it to come on. I have never seen so much talent in all my 57 years. Not even in a circus. I love it and hope it is going to be on television a long time. Good job god bless you all for such a wonderful and entertaing show. Thank you Marc, I feel what you feel with your new family and Jlo I cry easy to when I feel their pain and hear their stories. You did a good thing. Love you for it and I do love your music .

I enjoy QiViva!!!! I am not Latino, I am Hawaiian and have been watching QIViva from day one and have also taped it when I was not at home. Today is April 14, 2012 and will miss the outcome of who made it and who did not. Is QiViva on another station. I am on PST.

I am a non traditional latina in many ways and really enjoyed all the aspects involed with the show. After watching a couple of episodes i understood what jenn saw in marc.lol. However if it wasnt on a list of shows available to me on my phone wouldnt have known it existed! Poor execution fox!

I am Truely Mad they took the show off. Thats right after Four weeks they pull it. I was thinking because of NASCAR RACING, but now I hear they are o the FINALE WHAT THE HELL! THAT SHOW IS BETTER THAN AMERICAN IDOL AND ITS NOT ON UNIVISION, What happen to DAVENPORT IA, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MAD!
