Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of NBC’s untitled Hilary Winston comedy pilot. The single-camera project centers on Agnes (Sarah Wright), a shy, focused woman who, after being dumped by her fiance Noah (Prinze), leans on her co-workers at Pharmville to help her come out of her shell and plot her revenge. Noah also works at Pharmville, but he’s worked his way up from “lab rat” to corporate. Engaged to Agnes for two years, and romantically involved for four, he has decided to break up with her because his new job has suddenly given him the chance to be new Noah, and new Noah is about easy laughs and good times. He’s ready to come out of his nerd shell, and part of that shell is Agnes. In addition to Wright, Prinze also joins previously cast Mena Suvari, Kyle Howard, Aubrey Dollar and Joanna Kerns. He is with ICM and Brillstein Entertainment.

Great cast. Too bad it’s on NBC, where it is sure to be watched by NO ONE.
Bad time to be an aspiring actor. Film actors are moving down, down, down the todem pole.
If you’re going to use Native American references, at least get them right. *totem*
I actually like the sound of this show. It sounds like a great premise. I even like the cast. This welling of positivity is unusual for me.
Good for him! I’m happy to see him enjoying success!
Freddie Prinze jr is a film actor? Did they make ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer-Part 8′?
I know! Haven’t they learned that nobody watches The Office, 30 Rock, or Parks and Recreation by now?
This only confirms my creeping fear that this no-talent ass clown is never, ever going to go away.
I’m not trying to be insensitive, but does anyone know why he hasn’t dropped the “Jr.” from his name? I understand the whole “honoring his father” thing, but most non-entertainment types drop the designation after their father’s death. It’s not like anyone is going to confuse him with his more-talented father.
