The film Girls Against Boys is playing South By Southwest. A controversial acquisition title repped by Paradigm, the thriller stars Nicole LaLiberte and Danielle Panabaker as two bartenders who get revenge against men who abused them. The film was written and directed by Austin Chick and produced by Clay Floren and Aimee Shieh. Here are several scenes, some not for the faint of heart:

Austin Chick…great name for SXSW
Wow, this seems really boring. The pacing is really off.
How can you tell what the pacing for a movie is like from several scenes, especially when they likely aren’t in chronological order? I’m not saying this appears to be a masterpiece, but it looks interesting and from the footage I would see the film.
Strange to comment about a movie’s pacing when you haven’t seen the movie! It seems like a very intense movie to me. I look forward to seeing it.
I would watch it. I’m interested also in what started all the rampage.
Looks promising.
Hard Candy beat them to it…
Too slow, boring, bad acting, uninspired music, crap flat dialogue – need I say more?
Are you serious? One woman in front had a nervous breakdown and I had nightmares from it. I don’t know if the director is a sicko but that movie was anything but boring. It was scarring.
I think Rosario Dawson already did this film if I recall called Descent
While I’m not over excited by this trailer I feel a need to defend it. You people are going on about how it’s already been done, well, you know revenge films involving male protagonists have been done a zillion and one times and there’s probably 20 in development as I write. How many Borne/Mission Impossible-type of movies can they make? They’re all the same and yet audiences still enjoy them. How many man-on-a-vengeful-rampage flicks can there be? A lot apparently and no one makes a stink about it.
Why are women held to a higher standard?
How many revenge flicks do you know of a man that has been done wrong by a woman, and then goes on a rampage killing not only the woman involved but all of them? This movie makes a pseudo-hero out of a woman killing men in interesting and torturous ways. If it were the other way around, it would not be released.
I was lucky enough to score a ticket for this premier @ SXSW. Truly not for the faint of heart but totally worth it! Nicole LaLiberte’s performance was phenomenal and one of the best female performances in the genre since La Femme Nikita (French original version, not Hollywood or the barely watchable series). More from Nicole please!!
Ditto that. Nicole is at once both captivating and terrifying. Well done.
WOW… I am SO glad I made it into the screening at SXSW (with 50-100 people waiting to get into each showing it was standing-room-only as the most anticipated show of the entire festival). In addition to the great action, this film was far more deep and creative than I was expecting – and the acting was phenomenal. Nicole’s performance was SO good it will give me nightmares!!! Bravo!
This looks VERY interesting. I look forward to seeing this. It looks very intense but in a good way.
Compelling stuff. I can’t wait to see the film!!!!
Wow. I just watched the scenes. I’m blown away at the tension. Masterfully shot and acted. I’m both intrigued and horrified to see the the entire film.
Looks great. I would go see it for sure.
Saw this at SXSW and I wasn’t completely sure what the take was, but either way it was a blast.
Cinematography looks good.
It’s got my interest! Totally want to see this film now!
I read the script. It’s going to be a powerful film.
Dying to see this…….my little girl plays Andrew Howard’s daughter. How was she?
For those that saw the movie, was there a little blonde girl in the scene at the motel with fake vampire teeth in?
