Universal Pictures has released an extended new trailer for the Rupert Sanders-directed Snow White And The Huntsman, the revisionist fairy tale that will be released June 1. The studio has also released a featurette on the making of a film that stars Charlize Theron as the sinister queen, Kristen Stewart as Snow, and Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. The fantasy setting looks a lot like Middle Earth. Universal debuted the trailer on Comcast-owned Xfinity.com. Trailer is below, followed by the featurette. It looks pretty compelling, and the key is whether the young crowd that wants to see Snow White wrapped in chain mail and wielding a sword. Will those images be too upsetting? Similarly ominous images did not keep them away from Alice In Wonderland, which triggered the fairy tale frenzy.

Kristen “1 look 5 movies” Stewart is for sure the weakest link. Charlize will carry this movie to success, and the twilight girl and the australian guy will benefit from Charlizes greatness.

The script was a huge sale for a young writer and is quite a fantastic story on the page. Visuals look amazing, use of sound seems spot on, and the cast will pull in $$. They’ll get my $15 for a ticket.
The visuals do look good, but these films are all looking the same with creatures, battles, etc.
Truly, whether it is Carter, Titans, or whatever…they are all just enhanced computer game mentally images with little or no story…like computer games.
Hope they all do well, but my cup has long overflowed with this style and material.
Guess my age is showing, because it has become so predictable and boring.

“Looks a lot like Middle Earth” is right. Do Peter Jackson & co. get a piece of the profits for having their production and photography aesthetics so heavily copied??? Hell, I halfway expected Gollum to come wandering into a scene hissing, “Precioussss!”
don’t worry jackson will show them how its done when the hobbit comes out. good thing they moved this movie away from the hobbit though. it would have looked like a big joke next to it.

Felicity Jones would have made the PERFECT Snow White. She already has the accent and I could see her going toe for toe with Charlize. Granted, no one is going to compete with Charlize in the beauty area but at least Jones is beautiful and not awkward like K. Stew.
This looks awesome. It has amazing visuals and special effects. I think all of the actors look great and surprisingly, Kristen Stewart’s accent seems pretty spot on.

I find it strange that there is so much hate for 21 year old girl. I find it kind of nice that she’s not the actress that needs to be in the tabloids every week to stay relevant. It must be hard too have the paps chase you everywhere you go and I don’t buy into the belief the paps come with the being famous. She was really good in The CakeEaters, and Welcome To The Rileys. I would give her chance before tearing her apart. Remember what George,Brad,Tom,johnny,Sandra,and even Meryl acting skills at 21 was like.

If Kristen Stewart can pull this off, she will open herself to mainstream movies. NO stutters all her usual tricks. The trailer looks good, Charlize and Chris will bring it. Let’s see if Kristen can too. I think Kristen is someone that needs strong direction. Telling her what to do.
Wow, alot of people strongly dislike Kristen Stewart. Based on this trailer, I see nothing wrong with her. I’m really liking what I see so far of this movie and will definitely be seeing this at the movies. Can’t wait.
