EXCLUSIVE: Laz Alonso (Breakout Kings) is set as the male lead opposite Meagan Good in NBC’s drama pilot Notorious, from Universal TV and BermanBraun. Written by Liz Heldens, Notorious is described as an opulent soap in which detective Joanna Locasto (Good) returns undercover to the wealthy and troubled Lawson family she grew up in — as the housekeeper’s daughter — to solve the murder of celebutante Vivian Lawson, who was once her closest friend. Alonzo, repped by ICM, Thruline and attorney Rick Genow, will play NYPD detective Will Sacovitch who recruits former flame Joanna to infiltrate the Lawson home, in the hope of finding evidence that Vivian was murdered. He segues to Notorious from A&E’s Breakout Kings.

Camille Guaty has landed the fourth lead in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot Let It Go. The Sony TV-produced project, written by DJ Nash, is an ensemble comedy about a married couple (Zachary Levi, Kat Foster) his best friend (Joel David Moore) and her sister (Guaty), who loves to text and gossip, as they try to navigate, negotiate and sometimes manipulate society’s unspoken rules. Guaty is with APA, Impression Entertainment and attorney Brad Small.
