Ben Feldman (Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva) has quietly joined the cast of AMC’s hot drama series Mad Men for its current Season 5. Like everything related to Mad Man, Feldman’s character is shrouded in secrecy but I hear he is playing a new employee at ad agency Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. He will make his debut on the show on Sunday.

Good! The show desperately needs some new blood. The season premier was a snoozefest, stale as hell. Awful. Hopefully Feldman will be a recurring character and shake things up.
Snoozefest?? You and I must have watched different shows because I laughed so much during the premiere!! “Why don’t you sing like that? Why don’t you look like him?” exchange between Roger and his wife had me in hysterics. They were just a few of the funny lines in the episode along with so many references to seasons past (the sideways looks Pete and Peggy gave each other over the baby carriage). I have no idea what you find exciting and interesting but I loved the premiere as it was classic Mad Men at its finest. Can’t wait to savour the rest of the season!!

Boring casting. But that’s to be expected from Laura Schiff and Carrie Audino. Liz Moss, Kartheiser, Hendricks, Slattery and some others are all good. But the people that have been added along the way are terrible. Feldman makes me want to fall asleep.
Don Draper may be his long lost daddy? Hmmmm!
Ben is terrific and i am sure he will be a great addition to the show!

Maybe so but they are all memorable.
Gotta laugh at all the contraians who proclaim their dislike of the current season. Mad Men is as great as it’s ever been. Its pace is something to enjoy, not berate (unless you have trouble paying attention for long periods of time).

Mad Men continues to be fantastic entertainment. I watched the first episode twice already!!!
Joan struggling with the baby carriage, the baby being passed back & forth, Pete’s house that looked so much like the Drapers’ house in Ossining, the french bride strutting her stuff & Don’s reaction…. the final scene brought tears to my eyes. I’d so like to see one of those ladies hired & I’d be surprised if they don’t. Oh, and I love Lane.
Why are you critics of MM watching it if you find it a snoozefest? Beats me.
You people have missed the real reason to watch this series. Inventing new ideas in advertizing, the clients responses, and Don strutting his stuff is the big selling point of the story. The rest is a delicious soap opera.

January Jones is BEAUTIFUL and her “daughter” is a cutie! Since
I didn’t start watching MAD MEN from the beginning, it’ll
probably be a good idea to get the DVDs! (~_~) MAD 4 JON HAMM!!
This show is nothing but an overrated soap opera.
