EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures has acquired the action-heist spec script Swindle, which will be developed by Moneyball producer Michael De Luca as a star vehicle for Megan Fox and Zoe Saldana. The actresses will produce with De Luca. Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson wrote the script. The storyline is being kept under wraps but the spec sold after both Universal and Paramount chased it. The project came out of a desire by Fox and Saldana to do a movie together.
Fox is currently starring in Friends With Kids, and next stars opposite Sacha Baron Cohen in the Paramount comedy The Dictator and the Judd Apatow-directed ensemble comedy This Is Forty with Paul Rudd, Chris O’Dowd, and Leslie Mann. She has bounced back nicely after leaving the Transformers franchise.
Saldana is currently shooting the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Trek sequel and will next star in the Guillaume Canet-directed Blood Ties, opposite Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, and Marion Cotillard. She starred with Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Irons in The Words, which sold at Sundance to CBS Films. Saldana is currently in negotiations to star opposite Christian Bale-Casey Affleck in Out of the Furnace, which Scott Cooper is attached to direct at Relativity Media.
Fox, Saldana, Mileti, and Wilson are all represented by ICM. Saldana is also represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

I am newly a lesbian, as of 4:51PM. They are that hot.
Team ICM, baby!
This sounds more like a wet dream than an actual casting. Neither woman is talented- just hot. What fanboy no-balls exec greenlit this pile of shite?
There are so many talented young actresses in Hollywood working today (Emma R., Emma S, Blake L.), so why put together this hot no-talent fest?
It’s the same sort of sexism that’s made Channing Tatum and the six-pack ab bunch so-called “stars.”
Would (a young) Dustin Hoffman, Sissy Spacek, Martin Sheen, Shelley Duvall or Al Pacino even get a job today? Doubtful. Highly doubtful.
Did you actually namecheck “Blake L.” in your little rundown? Your cred is shot.
@ThespiansAtWork: Lively seriously? The Town was clearly a fluke and she’s dreadful in everything else she’s been in. Roberts wouldn’t even have gotten the chance to act if she wasn’t related to Julia.
Easily worth the price of admission to watch these two on a giant screen for two hours.
Hey let’s not forget about Enzo and Scott, the writers. They are the ones that came up with this paring.
Are you sure this is at Paramount? Playlist is reporting that this was picked up by Sony. And isn’t that where De Luca’s office is?
Woow. Megan Fox and I who just happens to do? a comic on her….
This better not be a rumor! I can’t wait for this, Megan & Zoe are soo cool, hopefully this movie involves badass babes with attitude like Zoe’s movie Columbiana! xD Gawdd, if Megan’s love interest is fugly again, I’ma be pissed, I need to see her smooching someone like Jensen Ackles or Chris Hemsworth! ^_^
