Fashion Star Jessica SimpsonWith CBS’ drama lineup returning to originals, Fox’s comedy block crumbled in its third week, with all four series hitting season/series lows. Raising Hope (1.6/5) was down 11% from last week, I Hate My Teenage Daughter (1.2/4) was down 14%, New Girl (2.6/7) was down 7%, and Breaking In (1.3/3) was down 13%. Things do not look good for Teenage Daughter and Breaking In, while the other two series will likely be renewed.

ABC’s Last Man Standing (1.9/6) and CBS’ NCIS (3.3/10) and NCIS: LA (2.8/7) were sluggish in their returns from a three-week-long hiatus. Last Man Standing was down 14% to a series low, while NCIS and NCIS: LA were down 6% and 10%, respectively, to season lows. But CBS’ freshman Unforgettable (2.1/6) showed a fighting spirit. With no original drama competition in the 10 PM hour, the series, which was not among the 18 that received an early renewal by CBS last week, was up 11% from its last new episode three weeks ago. At ABC, Cougar Town (1.6/5) was up 14% from last week when it followed a Last Man Standing repeat vs. an original last night. The River (1.4/4) made a quiet exit, up a tenth from last week in its finale. Body Of Proof was a repeat. NBC’s The Biggest Loser (2.2/6) was up 5% from last week, while at 10 PM, Fashion Star (1.8/5) was up 13% from its 9:30-11 PM premiere last week amidst media blitz surrounding co-star Jessica Simpson. The CW’s 90210 and Ringer were both up a tenth in 18-49 from last week.
