That was quick — less than 24 hours after Fox cancelled Terra Nova, series co-star Christine Adams has joined ABC’s drama pilot Americana, a family soap that centers on iconic fashion designer Robert Soulter (Anthony LaPaglia), the patriarch of a sprawling family who just welcomed a new member, Alice Clarke (Ashley Greene), a young designer whose shocking arrival turns the family and the legendary label inside out. Adams, repped by Innovative and Hofflund Co., will play Robert’s wife Sierra, a bronze-skinned East African beauty and former supermodel. The role is a far cry from Adams’ character on Terra Nova - Mira, the rugged leader of the Sixers rebel group. In light of the cancellation at Fox, producing studio 20th Century Fox TV has been shopping Terra Nova to other networks.
Jeremy Strong has been cast in TNT’s one-hour pilot LA Noir, written and to be directed by The Walking Dead‘s Frank Darabont. LA Noir tells the true story of a decades-long conflict between the LAPD, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by mobster Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of LA’s criminal world. Strong, repped by ICM and Mosaic, will play the second in command mobster, Mike Hendry. He will next be seen opposite Daniel Day Lewis in Steven Speilberg’s Lincoln.

Sounds like she will be on another show that will only last one season
or not. For all we know hers is one of the contracts that was picked up by Fox Studio so if they can get someone to pick up Terra Nova she might have to go back to that for at least a while. I mean they could easily kill her off to release the actress.
Also pilots aren’t the same as pickups. much of the cast is getting press for being in this pilot or that (which is amusing cause the show is supposedly so awful) but there’s no promise any of them will get picked up
LA Noir sounds and will be fabulous, I am sure.
