ABC Family has closed the deal for a second season pickup of the original drama series The Lying Game. The new season will begin production this summer for a winter premiere. The renewal comes on the heels of a solid second half of the series’ freshman season. After a so-so start last summer, The Lying Game grew in Season 1A, up 28% in W18-34 over the first half of its season. The Lying Game, follows separated-at-birth identical twins Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer (Alexandra Chando) who swap lives, setting in motion a web of secrecy and lies. The series is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon and is executive produced by Charles Pratt, Jr., Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.

Finally! For a while, I was like, what does a guy have to do to get this show picked up? Hide in the back of somebody’s car and surprise them while they’re driving to a birthday party in the rain? Can’t wait for the new episodes!

I have noticed with TV shows that are made from a book series that has more than ten books witen and read by people. It takes more than half if not one whole season to get into a great show. I hope the networks see this and give some of these shows a chance. More than one season. That’s is when they get really good! I also think the public needs to see that too. Now that we live in a have to have everything now or it becomes boring. There is a patern that if you give the public to much the shows run out of new material, fast. A good Director can give just enough to hook you in but not bore the viewers! Thanks for giving this show another year! I hope it works out. It is just as good as pretty little Liers and other ABC Family shows!!

Omg i am so glad this shows coming back on like i so cant wait till winter especially after that cliffhanger of an ending i mean come on it ends with Sutton calling Rebeca MOM and Alex getting arrested for murder saw it coming………………………………………. oh i cant wait i have read all the books (cant wait for the new book hide and seek ether July 21st) and watched all the episodes like 10 times i think i like lying game more than pretty little liars witch says a lot because i am totaly obsessed with pretty little liars lol
