EXCLUSIVE: Dominic Monaghan has been cast as the narrator of Crackle‘s original horror-thriller anthology series The Unknown, which launches later this year on the Sony TV-owned multiplatform network. Monaghan (Lost, The Lord Of The Rings trilogy) will play a blogger who chronicles the unexplained phenomenon that occurs in each of the six half-hour episodes. He is repped by APA. Frances Fisher, William Atherton, Taryn Manning, Jay Ferguson, and Christina Pickles have signed on for the stand-alone episodes so far. Crackle’s first longform scripted show marks the latest push to expand its original longer-form series, joining such original content as drama Urban Wolf, comedy Backwash and the live-action/animated hybrid Issues. Chris Collins (Sons Of Anarchy) and former LucasFilm executive Steve Tzirlin are executive producing Unknown.

Awesome, such a hot talented actor. Cant wait to get ahold of this new role!
Great casting job (pat yourself on the back)
I’m looking forward to it, as well. But I wonder if this will create any conflict with his upcoming BBC series; “Wild Things”?
