Gersh has signed Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, whose documentary Shut Up And Play The Hits premiered at Sundance and played SXSW and was subsequently acquired for distribution by Oscilloscope. The duo directs commercials and music videos under the name “thirtytwo,” with the UK company Pulse Films, and they have directed two documentaries. The first was No Distance Left to Run, on the band Blur, and Shut Up and Play the Hits chronicled the breakup of LCD Soundsystem. Oscilloscope is slated to release this summer.

Saw their documentary at SXSW. It was great! Can’t wait to see what else these guys make.
Great great sign! “Shut Up And Play” was my favorite doc at SXSW. Gersh will do them wonders
Really looking forward to this. I was so disappointed that they broke up.
A band ending in an organized fashion? You mean no drugs, no drama? Never happens, but def very cool to document, I’ll be netflixing it!
Saw this movie at Sundance and thought it was fantastic. Anyone know where to find the Blur doc? Looking forward to seeing more from these two.
“Shut Up and Play” was amazing. These guys are talented, hope to see more.
Shut Up and Play was a definite highlight for me! Incredible stuff… Can’t wait to see what these guys put out in the future and what they cover!
I heard about this movie from my friend who went to Sundance! I heard a rumor that it might be released to theaters soon? That would be rockin’!
If the movie is so good where were the good agencies when they were meeting?
