Nice job!
Who did the make-up?
Hopkins has such a great history of disappearing into his unique characters and seems to always pull them off.
Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger’s KNB EFX. They’re the best in the biz.
KNB is doing the job for the movie, but apparently a makeup consultation was done with Rick Baker while Hopkins was working on the WOLF MAN remake. (Hopkins was apparently wary of playing a recognisable celebrity after NIXON, where he wasn’t comfortable with the way he looked. Baker basically convinced him that he could be made to look acceptably like Hitchcock without it turning into a rubber mask).
Not to mention, many people preferred Dan Hedaya’s portrayal in Dick a couple of years later.
holy moly!
We are NOT amused !
The Oscar winner is Anthony Hopkins. Hell, he looks amazing just WOW.
I wish him good luck in the almost impossible task of beating Daniel Day Lewis.
I’m always on Daniel Day Lewis side but just keeping it real. I would love to presume that Daniel would just walk away with it but it’s going to be even more hard than this year’s Oscars.
I’m still waiting in no particular order for Gary Oldman, Leo Dicaprio, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, James Franco, Ryan Gosling Michael Shannon, Andy Serkis, Joseph Gordon Levitt – mmmm the list goes on and on.
However, sometimes there are surprises that I think f*** none of my picks are ever going to win. Hopefully, all these guys mentioned above will step up with their performances but you have to admit from this photo alone Mr Hopkins looks pretty strong for the title as long as the movie is brilliant.
Then again, Meryl Streep won it and the film was ok put her performance was amazing. Still think Viola Davis deserved it more.
Oh, let’s not forget the French film Intouchables with François Cluzet and Omar Sy both could BE that surprise.
Agree. I mean Nicole Kidman won for a nose.
Quite impressive! Can’t wait to see this movie. Just wish they could come up with a better title. Hitchcock? That’s it?
Well they could call it “Hitch” but that was the Kevin James movie.
I think it will probably end up as “Hitchcock and ‘Psycho.’” Every option feels awkward.
Alfred Hitchcock of Mars
Hope there will be reference’s to the TV SERIES which was producing at the same time as PSYCHO.
NEVER would have guessed that’s Hopkins.
Funny, cuz I never would have guessed that’s Hitchcock. Looks more like Lew Grade.
Anthony Hopkins could probably play him, too.
Would never have known this is Anthony Hopkins…WOW. Great job KNB EFX!
Superb image. Now let’s see if Hopkins can pull off that inimitable voice.
fabulous work from howard berger – the B in KNB!
The nose plays.
Is that Don Rickles?
What an amazing make up. KNB has a long list of incredible movies under their belt. Another great job Howard Berger. Kudos!!!
