• I’ve loved Butch Walker for years and years (Marvelous 3, solo stuff, songwriting hits for others) but lets be honest, Butch has always wanted to be a huge rock star but will never make it because his voice is really cool, but he’s never an “amazing” voice that will grab you. I instantly know when Butch has produced a song since he’s used the same sound and technique for over 15 years – a nice, clean arena=rock sounds which commercial radio loves.. but so far it has not worked for his solo stuff… I wish he would go back to doing Marvelous 3 stuff since that was his creative peak in my mind (or his first solo record). Anyway, I look forward to watching this documentary since I am a big fan of Butch’s…. it was sad a few years back when he lost all of recordings in a house fire – too bad.
