At its upfront presentation today, MTV announced premiere dates for returning series Teen Wolf and Awkward and the upcoming Jersey Shore spinoff Snooki & JWoww (tralier below). Just like its series premiere last year, the second season of Teen Wolf will launch after the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 3 at 11 PM. The series will move into its regular Monday 10 PM slot the following night. MTV is changing the scheduling strategy for Awkward, whose first season aired at 11 PM. In Season 2, the breakout comedy is moving to primetime, paired with Snooki & JWoww, which will keep the time slot of the mothership Jersey Shore series, Thursday 10 PM, premiering on June 21. Awkward will follow at 10:30 PM on June 28. During the presentation at the Beacon Theatre in New York, MTV also showcased its slate of new scripted and reality series: Catfish, Inbetweeners, Underemployed, Wake Brothers and Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous.

MTV easily rivals BRAVO, SYFY and A&E for worst programming on a cable network.
Not for me.I at least enjoy MTV’s Teen Wolf and Awkward, as well as Syfy’s Being Human.I don’t like anything on Bravo and A&E.

While I agree, they all have horrible reality programming; some have good scripted shows worth giving a chance.
Syfy has Warehouse 13, Being Human, Merlin (UK import), Haven, and Eureka (which is ending).
A&E has The Glades.
MTV has Teen Wolf and Awkward.
Bravo has nothing but trash though.

That’s not really true. Their reality stuff is junk. But TEEN WOLF is terrific, one of the best new shows of last year. Same for I JUST WANT MY PANTS BACK. Both underrated, super-smart and interesting shows. AWKWARD’S very good too. SKINS was bad, it’s true, and DEATH VALLEY misfired. But 3 new excellent shows in a year is a big deal.
Death Valley was great too but if you didn’t watch MTV you didn’t even know it was on.
To be honest “Teen Wolf” and “Awkward” have easily become top 10 must-see-tv for me. They are doing a wonderful job with there scripted development – and I can’t wait to see how it keeps going.

Teen Wolf and Awkward. is my top 2 most awaited come back this summer. Good thing MTV have this two awesome series, otherwise MTV is just like a garbage can full of trash.
Teen Wolf is the best teen supernatural series. It is exciting, terrifying and awesome.
