The second-season finale of NBC’s The Voice, originally scheduled to air from 8-10 PM on Tuesday May 8, will instead run from 9-11 PM. Fashion Star, which was to follow The Voice finale at 10 PM, will now lead into it at 8.

My biggest issue with The Voice is the talent not being as good as the talent on Idol. The Voice is more about the judges as the most successful song from last season was Adam’s song with Christina.
For season 3 they should make the search bigger. Have them travel to different cities for the blind auditions. That way you get undiscovered talent instead of a bunch of people who have tried and failed at a recording career already.
I tend to agree with B.
Too many of these singers are on their 2nd or 3rd “chance at fame”….
Maybe there’s a reason. Even last season one of the women had already WON a singing competition–
They should move the voice performance show permanently to Tuesdays instead of having to compete against dancing and cbs comedies and fox.
What people consistently overlook is that when The Voice was still at their Top 48 during the battle rounds, Idol was already at its Top 12 or so. It took weeks for The Voice to do the 1-on-1 battles to get to their Top 24, but people were comparing The Voice’s Top 48 or Top 24 to the Idol’s Top 12. So, of course, at those points, if you’re comparing the two shows, The Voice would have more weaker singers, because they weren’t as far along in their process.
But I wouldn’t hesitate to put Juliet Simms, Lyndsey Pavao, Tony Lucca, Jamar Rogers, Mathai, Charlotte Sometimes, Jordis Unga, Jesse Campbell and Jermaine Paul up against Idol’s singers. Personally, I prefer their styles and voices to most on Idol.
But I also like The Voice process better than Idol’s, and I certainly like the coaches and production better.
i really enjoy the voice. I think the judges they are really good. I enjoy the judges individual performances. I really enjoyed Blake Shelton’s performance on April 30,2012. He is a really good country singer and I think he does Country Music proud on the Voice. I also enjoy the groups singing togeter and with their couches. Keep up the good work. The Voice is a really good show.
