With springtime in full force, viewers continue to check out. Last night, primetime TV usage in the adults 18-49 category was down 4% from last week, pushing many series to all-time lows. Fox’s American Idol (4.7/13, 16.5 million viewers) was down 4% from last week’s fast national to a new low for an in-season cycle. Fox still won the night in 18-49 and total viewers.
ABC’s Suburgatory (2.0/6) slipped a tenth from last week to a series low but its performance was nevertheless impressive given the fact that its lead-in this week was a Middle rerun (1.3) vs. an original (2.1) last week. Modern Family (4.0/11) also was down a tenth from its fast national last week to a season low but the hit comedy always gets adjusted up. At 9:30 PM, Don’t Trust The B—- In Apt. 23 (2.6/7) was down a modest 10% from its series premiere last week. At 10 PM, Revenge (2.3/4) came back from a long, six-week hiatus pretty much on par, down a tenth from its last original.
CBS’ Survivor (2.7/8) was flat, with the rest of the network’s lineup in repeats. NBC had the only two series on the Big 4 to post ratings gains. Betty White’s Off Their Rockers (1.7/5) was up a tenth from last week as was Rock Center with Brian Williams (0.7/2, up a tenth from the fast national, .2 from the final). Sandwiched between then was midseason comedy BFFs (0.9/3), which was flat with last week at below-renewal levels. At 10 PM, Law & Order: SVU (1.5/4) was down 12% from last week to a series low. The CW’s America’s Next Top Model (0.6/2) was up a tenth.

long live the bitch please! I was skeptical but that show is flat out FUNNY. more please.
Agreed. Much funnier in Week 2.
Definitely some potential there. My girlfriend and I will tune in again.
I am a little surprised that NBC is not putting any of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on at night.
the bitch is actually a really good show, very funny! glad it’s doing fine in the ratings
Bitch is hilarious; I’m glad to see it holding. And SUV was actually pretty great last night, so I’m a little surprised at the drop.
I’m loving Bitch too! It’s a hilarious show. But it’s ridiculous that in this day they can’t write the word ‘bitch’ in the title. I hate PTC so much. Such a useless organization.
Agreed! Don’t Trust the Bitch was even better in Episode 2!
I’m surprised at the Idol drop given that ABC and CBS had repeats on during various parts of Idol’s 2 hour run. It seems one or the other has been in repeats all spring and NBC has nothing to challenge Idol with, so yeah, definitely surprised by an Idol drop last night. It still won the night, though it’s not the powder keg it use to be.
I tried to watch Apt 23 but couldnt find a moment to laugh so I had to turn it off
If some of these comments are any indication-I may have to give that bitch on Abc a try. Thanx Nellie.
NBC continues to sink to rock bottom levels with their drivel programming but maybe ABC has something here with the Apt. 23 show, but need to steadily build towards that momentum with their other shows. The CW is…well…the CW and thank goodness AI is falling like bricks.
