Here’s the adults-only, audio NSFW version of the toned-down green band trailer for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s feature debut Ted, which aired tonight during the boundary-pushing animated TV series. Mark Wahlberg plays a grown man who meets the woman of his dreams (Mila Kunis) but has to contend with his teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish. The Universal release is slated to open July 13.

Whoa. This movie is going to make bank.
Not so fast. Weird. Very weird. Plus zero chemistry between Mark and Mila.
The chemistry is between Marky-Mark and the bong-hitting bear. Mila is (smokin’ hot) window dressing in this flick.
That looks absolutely fucking insane. Good for him. He’s got creative capital and he’s spending the shit out of it! I mean that in the best way possible.
Well, that McFarlane has got one heckuva comic range.
This is unlike anything he’s done before.
Complete 180.
Looks better than The Beaver.
I was going to post something shitty, then I watched the trailer and laughed.
“Where’s my ring, asshole?”
Why would Ted have to move out? It seems akin to having a kid or a dog… Albeit a vulgar kid or a very crass dog.
I might actually see this.
What an irresistible blend of dick, fart and poop jokes. Call the Library of Congress because they should clear a space on the shelf for this.
Ginger! Please don’t do anything rash but Airplane! is in the Library Of Congress.
Not that i’m saying Ted is anywhere near Airplane.
Can’t wait for this!
Tears running. This will do Borat business.
Yeah. And they shouldn’t have cast Mike Myers in Shrek because he sounded like the scottish character in Austin Powers. And they shouldn’t have cast Eddie Murphy because he sounded like the Klumps. And they shouldn’t have cast Ellen in Finding Nemo because she sounded like Ellen. And they shouldn’t have… Oh, come on you get it already. You’re not thaaaat much of an idiot.
j – I don’t understand your response to j79. What does all of your rambling have to do with the comment about ‘Borat business’? It grossed $261 million in 2006.
If you’re going to call someone an idiot, it’s best to make sure you are replying to the right comment.
I love me some Seth MacFarlane, but he should have used a different actor to voice the bear. Ted sounds just like Peter Griffin. FAIL
My thought exactly. Thought the jokes were funny. But Seth doing the voice took me out of it. He does how many voices on his shows?? Well just count how many sound exactly the same. Cuz he really only does ONE voice — just uses it for different characters. Shoulda let another (better) voice actor do Ted.
Yeah because Stewie sounds just like Roger and the two of them sound just like Brian and all three of them sound just like Peter… uh huh, right. /sarcasm
Peter, Stewie, Bryan, Quagmire, Pewterschmidt. None of which sound the same. Not even all of them.
and mila kunis’ voice sounds exactly like meg griffin… moron.
Mark is too old for Mila…looks like her dad.
you’re so right, but in real life guys much older than walhberg actually date much younger girls than kunis.
No he doesn’t. He’s what, 10 years older maybe but doesn’t look it.
Mark definitely looks too old for Mila, and Mila looks too old for me to watch.
These well-into-middle-age-people-who-act-like-they’re-twenty-five date movies are creepy.
Stop it, Seth. Just stop it.
“Mila looks too old for me to watch.”
Uh, what an absolute creep you are.
Apparently, you’re not aware that when Mila auditioned for That 70′s Show she was only 14. She isn’t “middle-aged” unless middle aged is now 29. She was born August 14, 1983
Mark is 40 and Mila’s in her late 20s…Not that bad. I am a little more icked out by Jennifer Lawrence/Bradley Cooper playing love interests in two upcoming films.
This Movie looks Freaking Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This ain’t real yo . . .
Hey, look! Seth MacFarlane is playing his one note again!
Eh.
Family Guy in a Teddy Bear.
Just as childish & worthless.
Going to make a grillion bucks.
Agreed. This movie is going to make bank.
“Ted sounds just like Peter Griffin. FAIL”
I know, right? Good thing Mila doesn’t sound anything like Meg.
Is this an April Fool’s joke?
Is this an april fool’s joke? Looks terrible
and now, mark wahlberg talks to stuffed animals!
Judge not lest ye be judged. But hey, we are all going to be Judged Marky. Keep going to Mass, pal. What were you thinking doing this shite.
My two yen worth…
Yen
girls will see this for marky mark. guys will see this for mila. everyone will see this to see a teddy bear curse. $40M opener easy.
It looks awful. I actually thought it was an April’s Fool joke when MacFarlane introduced the trailer during Family Guy… Even the dialogue recording for the bear sounded like someone just did that with a plain camcorder. It’s his usual stuff with live action, nothing special.
Some of it made me laugh. Could it be huge.
I’m really the only person who thinks this is the exact plot of the failed TV show “Wilfred”? MacFarlane always laughs along with people’s “joke” that he shamelessly steals, but this sure looks like the same plot, right down to the bong hits.
“Wilfred” didn’t fail. It was a huge success for FX and has been picked up for a second season.
It certainly has some very similar elements. Also, Wilfred isn’t a failed TV show, season 2 starts in June!
Nope, was going to say the same thing.
Oh and like Nick said – Wilfred was a hit show in Australia and it certainly didn’t fail over here either. The difference is still clear though. “Wilfred” is very much a dark show, dealing with death and suicide in conjunction with depression. This is just a comedy.
