As someone else said a while back – ‘I’m going to experience this so HARD’.
Portentous and pretentious! Mythology for a spiritually dead country.
Settle down, this is uniquely dense and clearly what the audience is asking for. What we can admire most is the rare restraint on display here – the adult tone instantly sets this apart from its genre. In stark contrast to the overstated copy (the “Epic Conclusion” fanfare and now “Hope is lost, faith is broken, a fire will rise).”
Bane’s obvious ADR aside, here’s hoping Hathaway delivers. Compelling women are consistently absent in Nolan’s films, and Pfeiffer’s Catwoman was one for the ages.
I share your hope… loving everything about this but Anne Hathaway. Marion Cotillard would have made a better (French) Catwoman…why AH!?!? Prometheus has this beat by a mile with Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron.
This wasn’t the trailer we wanted, but maybe it is the trailer that we deserved.
Taking off from my butler job to see this one! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like the best of the three. Which isn’t saying much.
What? In what way is that not saying much?
Totally. Man, it’s just too bad WB didn’t get “Ben” to make this film. At least they could have asked “Ben” to consult on the script, right? Troll.
So dissing Nolan’s Batman movies has now become hip, I guess. I love this contrarian, hipster mentality. It’s so obvious. The Batman movies have been critical and box office successes, but because they’re now deemed “too admired”, people think it’s cool to hate them.
Awesome. I’m there. Freaking awesome.
Great trailer but it reveals too much. Bruce Wayne is going to die and Joseph Gordon Levitt is going to take over.
Just look at the trailer for The Dark Knight. They practically show you that Harvey Dent will become Two Face.
I wasn’t aware that Harvey Dent becoming Two Face was such a big secret.
OMG!!! maybe it is because it is past my bedtime but, this looks like crap!!!
Oh shit. The new vehicles are going to be awesome.
Dame, I forgot she was in it. Would have been better without Hathaway.
This could be – if such a designation was ever possible – the best movie trailer ever made.
Yep. This film might make some money….
As far as anticipation goes I think Prometheus has this beat unfortunately. Not feeling the same as I did after watching the Dark Knight trailers.
We’ll see.
Are tickets available yet?
I’ll sell my child to see this early!
Why so self-serious?
It’s like some kind of CHILDREN OF MEN/SILENCE OF THE LAMBS/Chanel commercial mash-up.
I mean, if you’re going to have a Collapsing Football Field of Pathos and comeback lines like “It’s not a car,” (yuk-yuk!) don’t you think aiming for this level of gravitas is a little silly?
Guess I don’t need to see The Avengers now
Bane sounds clear to me this time – Nolan took the audience’s note.
Totally awesome trailer. Why isn’t anyone out there making movies at this level?
Epic.
looking good. can’t wait for the dark knight rises. nolan bros. = genius.
pure-n-simple !
Ugh. Really not liking Anne Hathaway. Hope i’m wrong.
I can now say that this movie has officially got my attention beyond being a fan of batman.
WB can start counting the money now… looks amazing!
Still hoping this isn’t Nolan’s last one. I always thought he’d be able to do a great Riddler with Guy Pearce in the role.
I’m partial to a Huge Laurie as the Riddler myself.
Jesus. This movie is going to be the functional equivalent of a monetary printing press.
I’ve forgotten about avengers now. it was a great movie but this trailer had my heart racing!
