VH1 has ordered a second season of Stevie TV, Stevie Ryan’s sketch comedy series where she spoofs such shows as Mob Wives, The Real Housewives, Toddlers And Tiaras and Jersey Shore. The series, which features sketches, mixed-up music videos, mashed-up movie trailers, celebrity impersonations and fake commercials, will return for a second season this fall. The Season 1 finale airs Sunday. “We’ve been so impressed with Stevie’s comedic talent and creativity during the first season of her irreverent take on all things celebrity and pop culture,” VH1 president Tom Calderone said. “She is a rare example of successful female humor on television, and we’ve proud to have her as part of the VH1 family.”

Alright! Finally some real talent getting what it deserves. Stevie Ryan is an amazing and very talented female artist. I think she is a great role model and can’t wait to see what else this girl can do! Go Stevie! All of us strong minded females are cheering for you! So ridiculous… Is this Idiocracy? She is only being given this opportunity because of the other actors on her show and probably for her looks. She is like a less funny, more airheaded Whitney Cummings. If this is what is considered to be “successful female talent” (LOL successful? VH1? Hahaha OK!) then society is in a very sad state of affairs. There are MUCH funnier women out there who have more than one schtick when it comes to comedy. Stevie Ryan is a one-trick pony, and it’s not even a good or original trick, at that. This show was plodding and recycled before it was even through its first episode.
