ABC’s Happy Endings got its happy ending. As expected, the network has given a full-season, 22-episode order to the Sony TV-produced sophomore comedy series, which was glaringly missing from last night’s list of seven “no-brainer” ABC scripted series renewals. After several extra hours of deal-making, the quirky comedy has now joined fellow returning comedies Modern Family, Suburgatory, The Middle and dramas Once Upon A Time, Grey’s Anatomy, Revenge and Castle. Still pending are the renewals of freshmen comedy Last Men Standing and Don’t Trust The B—-, with GCB and Private Practice and Body Of Proof still on the bubble, with Body and Scandal looking good and Practice in tough negotiations for a 13-episode final season.

Good stuff. That’s a show I do enjoy sitting down to. It tailed off a bit after James Wolk’s arc in season 2 but still very enjoyable.

The reference to sophomore series is incorrect. This will be the shows 3rd season.
The reference is correct. The show is in it’s sophomore season. You don’t suddenly call yourself a junior in the last 3 weeks of your sophomore year of high school, you are still a sophomore until the next year!
Right, it just finished it’s sophomore season, and got picked up for a third. So the reference is correct.

PCT, I concur. 30 Rock is awful and sometimes Parks & Recreation tries too hard. But, Archer may be the best written comedy on tv.
Can’t believe that Body of Proof is “looking good” and Private Practice is having troubles getting a final 13-episode season.
Body’s ratings have been abysmal the whole year and PP’s average numbers are well over 2.0, peaking at 2.8! and has succesfuly moved to Tuesdays, if we forget it was destroyed this week by The Voice’s finale.
as of right now Private Practice is doing worse than Body of Proof ever did in that time slot.
Private Practice had 2 episodes that did worse than Body of Proof. Other than that it’s numbers have been higher all season. It was also doing better on Thursday than Scandal is

Chad, yes, Don’t Trust the B. is non-stop funny . That Asian neighbor that starks Krysten Ritter, is unbelievably funny. She was also funny in Crazy , Sexy, Love.
I’d rather watch Cougar Town while rubbing broken glass into my eyes than this smug, self-satisfied waste of 21 minutes.

Good news. But, they still need to renew LAST MAN STANDING. I’m starting to feel like they’re not going to. As I already stated a few days ago, it’s the one show every member of my family watches together.
That is great news for Happy Endings, but where is it? When will the final episodes for this season air? It’s been gone for what feels like forever and unexpectedly.

I am always surprised that people enjoy this show. Some of the cast is very strong, in particular Damon and Eliza, but the others really get on my nerves and I just can’t watch the how anymore. I bet Damon watches New Girl as if it’s the show that got away
