Today weekend anchor and NBC News national correspondent Amy Robach has left to join ABC News, where she will contribute to all broadcasts and platforms. She signed off on her last Today show Saturday after almost six years on the morning program. She also had been a morning news anchor at MSNBC.

Oh, wow. NBC let her get away from them? For who? Ann Curry. Yikes. Maybe ‘Good Morning America’ does deserve to be number one.
As a Canadian viewer I am very disappointed at NBC for letting her go. She would be better along side Matt Lauer than Ann curry and savahana Guthrie. Not sure I will continue to watch Saturday mornings anymore.
Matt should’ve fought for Amy to get Ann’s job. I switched from GMA to Today. If Today was smart they should replace Ann with Tamron Hall.
Congrats to Amy. She was my childhood crush back when she was still doing live traffic reports for WTTG-TV’s Fox 5 Morning News. 10 years later and she still looks lovely.
Did all the money go to Matt Lauer? Because NBC has been leaking quality talent for two years now starting with Dan Abrhams, (who they replaced with Star Jones…) Nora O’Donnell et. al… Is a Karadshian sister taking over for Amy? Poor Lester..
It’s hard to believe that the Today Show could get any worse. I’ve been watching the show for 40 years and it certainly hasn’t been this bad since Deborah Norville. She seems like an awfully nice person but Ann Curry has to go. I really liked Amy Robach.
I am watching the Today Show again, I think Ann is great. I left the Today show during the K and M years, could not stand them. Amy was good at the Weekend edition of Today but she went to ABC as a correspondentg not the Co-Anchor.

Switched to GMA a few months ago; couldn’t take Ann Curry any longer (Savannah or Natalie simply have to take over to save that show).
Now with Amy at GMA, my switch is permanent.

Glad to see I’m not the only one displeased with the today show. As a result, I’ve been watching CBS and ABC lately, which is where i was surprised to see amy robach just now. Have thought matt should go for awhile now and have been sorely disappointed with ann. The only good thing they have going for them is lester holt. Aside from lester on the weekends, I get more out of hoda and kathy lee than the “regular” part of the today show. I think that speaks volumes of how it has gone down hill. Sad, because i was a loyal follower since the 1970s. Not anymore.

I am shocked that NBC could be so stupid. I advocated for Amy when Meredith left, but NBC STUPIDLY chose Ann Currie and then the ultra ugly and unappealing Savanah Guthrie–wow, do they stink!!!. Amy has always been my favorite to “move up” and now it seems she is. Congratulations and best wishes to her. She IS a real talent–not too mention just gorgeous. Wherever she ends up I hope they use her great talents to advantage. She is a winner and I will watch her wherever she goes. The hell with NBC–congratulations to Amy and ABC and may ABC use Amy to real advantage. May I say that as good as the current anchor is at Good Morning America–ABC would be very very wise to put Amy in that role. TV ratings are uber important to television execs and Amy will definitely make ABC no. 1 and keep it there. She is the future of TV. I like Amy a lot. I think she should have took over Kathie Lee spot. The only thing Kathie lee do is neve let Hoda finsh her sentence. She always taliking so much. Please replace her because she can not let other people talk.

ABC’s gain is NBC’s loss!!!!!!!!Amy is a sweetheart, better than Meredith, Ann, Savanah and the rest-now get rid of Matt and NBC can start over. Kudos to ABC-it’s a better morning show anyway..
Very sad to see what’s going on with the Today show. If Ann Curry has to be replaced please don’t just throw anybody in the co anchor seat.Natalie would be excellent. Savannah should stick to the legal issues. Kathie Lee and Hoda segment need to end. Its a giggle fest and Hoda, an accomplished journalist has lost her creditability with this format. Today show should be 2 hrs max. A four hour program is just to much, all they do is repeat stories over and over again
When I heard the news of Ann Curry leaving the Today show, I frantically started searching for the name of the gal who has been doing such a great job on the weekend. As it turned out, it was Amy Robach’s name for which I was searching. I must of been under a mushroom to now realize that Amy left NBC 5 weekw back. The times I was able to catch the weekend show, I often wonder why she was not the main anchor during the weekday. She is awesome!! Now to add insult to injury, I hear that Savannah Gutherie is going to replace Ann. GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE! I am now convinced, NBC management does not have a clue. I will be switching over to GMA starting tomorrow (and hoping to see Amy often).

I had been telling my husband since Ann began NBC had made mistake. She is an excellent journalist but lacked the pizazz for the top spot. I could not bear to watch to watch she and Matt .i also was sad to see Amy go. She brought something I couldn’t put my finger on. I felt she would have filled the top spot wonderfully! I like Samantha hope she has what the show needs. Definitly not Natalie,although she has made much progress in the last couple of years.
NBC’s loss is ABC’s gain… LOVE Amy Robach… I hope ABC appreciates her… she’s a great morning host.!!!
I was so dissapointed that they let Amy leave the today show she was such a plus for the weekend show and would have boasted their ratings if they put her in the top spot next to Matt. I don’t know why they cut off their cooking segments so quickly but repeat the news with Natalie at least three times during the show. Give the cooking segments more time. What a terrible loss with Amy leaving!!
I hope that Amy Robach is as happy with GMA as much as I love seeing her on there. I left the today show five or six months ago as I could not take that Ann Curry anymore. Well done GMA!
So THAT’s where Amy Robach ended-up! I have been wondering what happened to her, but never went looking into posts, etc. If I were in charge at NBC, Amy would have been promoted to Head anchor-person a long time ago … back when Imus suggested it while he was on MSNBC. Leave it to the idiots at NBC to let her depart.

NBC is all mixed up.Matt is the king and Savannah the queen on the Today show. What they pay Matt is a sin… Then you have KathyLee and Hoda. The two alcoholics of all time right there in plain sight. There drinking is condoned and that is so sad. This whole 4 hours needs to be looked at because there is a lot wrong. From Kings,Queens and Alcoholics FIX it…….I stopped watching the 2 drunks and soon the whole Today Show will be next!
