Paramount released a primer for its sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues in front of The Dictator this weekend in theaters. The fab four from the original are back, led by Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy himself, and the film is set to be released sometime next year.

Esta bueno.
Let’s hope they saved all the “we’re so witty we don’t need to write any jokes ’cause we can make it up as we go along” for the trailer.
Let hope the film is better than the trailer!
This made me weep for joy.
(Or at least separate green-band and red-band versions.)
Man that just stunk we were awful. Terrible. Sorry America we were lazy and it’s my fault I was hungover that day. We could have done something much funnier in the newsroom or hell even in my bedroom. If this teaser goes on Funny or Die then we are dead. D E A D that spells dead. There was nothing at all funny about this teaser. Who the hell wrote this stupid scene? Adam McKay you are fired my friend. Fired. You stay classy Hollywood.
I’m leaving work immediately and going to get my trident out of storage.
Nice to see actors rescuing their buddy’s career by agreeing to support him in this re-hash.
I have yet to see the first Anchorman, but if this tepid stuff is what I can expect I think pass on both.
ok. It was funny 10 years ago. Worked on it and wasn’t an easy sell then. If they were going to do a sequel should have been 1 year later. They had enough footage to make one. UGG – why can’t the studios come up with anything new?? Can’t they green light any new ideas…. so pathetic…..
I love all these guys, but am I the only person in America who thought the first one stunk?
Is Ferrell’s career really in need of rescue? I thought between opening “The Other Guys” (his last wide release) to good numbers and selling out on Broadway, he’s been doing fine.
I normally hate sequels… but, this one could be a winner!
