30 Rock writer-producers Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan have signed a two-year, seven-figure overall with Sony Pictures Television. This marks the first overall pact for the duo, who will focus on developing new projects for the studio. The deal allows Siegal and Morgan to complete what is expected to be the final season of 30 Rock where they are being promoted to co-executive producers. Siegal and Morgan have been on 30 Rock for three seasons, having started on the show in fall 2009 as co-producers. Before that the duo worked on the USA dramedy Monk. Siegal and Morgan are repped by Dennis Kim, a newly minted partner at Rothman Brecher Kim, and attorney Mitch Smelkinson. Siegal and Morgan are the latest 30 Rock writer-producers to ink overall deals for new projects over the past couple of weeks — Matt Hubbard signed with Universal TV, Kay Cannon inked with 20th TV.

Wahoo! More white boys with overall deals! More white shows about white men with white men problems like being white and rich. WAHOO!!!
Wahoo! More whining by Elia about people she probably knows nothing about getting a deal which they may very well deserve! More slamming of a deal because of the color of the people who got it! Should they turn down the money, Elia?
I worked with this duo just before they moved to 30 Rock. They’re the Real Thing: Smart, funny, and gracious to all.
Two Jews In A Room…

Wow, because so many people watch 30 Rock. We definitely need to give all these guys deals.

Josh and Dylan are talented, funny and smart. Best of all, they are truly stand-up guys. Smart move, Sony.
I went to high school with Josh. He was damn funny and a sincerely kind guy. It feels great that he has had such success. Nicely done Josh!
I know these guys both are the nicest human beings ever.
Great family men with babies that they adore. They work hard and deserve it.The shows they’ve done are the best of the bunch.
Hooray for them. They’ll do a great job. And kudo’s to Sony pics for recognizing talent.
