Is Chris White now a producer without a network? CNN isn’t hiring him and Fox News isn’t talking, a day after a scathing Fox & Friends video segment on President Obama ran that White, an associate producer at the network, put together. A source told Deadline that CNN, who had already been talking to the producer, contacted White after the video aired and offered to double his Fox News salary. CNN would not confirm whether or not they had offered White a job, and today a network spokesperson said it isn’t hiring him. Fox News was quick to distance itself for the widely criticized video, despite Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy’s on-air “hats off to Chris White” for producing the heavily annotated segment (see the video below). The network released a statement saying the segment “was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network” and “this has been addressed with the show’s producers.” It is unknown whether White is actually still working at FNC. A Fox News spokesperson did not return Deadline’s requests for comment.

Unlike most of the people posting, I abhor all political parties, and I am not tethered to a political ideology. Nevertheless, I can see why Dems are upset over a purported news channel creating and showing such a video. And, it would have been nice if Fox had footnotes to the sources of the statistics that they showed.
Its time that every news media and citizen of this country think about abandoning the partisanship and look at what is best and right thing to do for this country. Partisanship puls country down and every politician knows about it and still do not care. So it is left to us, the citizens to take charge

Also… American media doesn’t have a journalistic checks and balances… Not like Canadian media do.
I would love to see the documentation citing the sources of the stats and information… In Canada, Political agencies and media are required to.
Instead of comparing two percentages and blaming the increase on Obama, they should show us the rates of increase. Gas prices, food prices, etc.. are increasing globally and are inevitable. Are the rates at which they are increasing higher or lower than before? Also, perhaps numbers don’t lie but there are so many other factors to consider. For all I know, if it wasn’t for Obama, unemployment rate would have been even higher, for instance. Just my two cents.

I thought this video was made very well and made the point that Fox is trying to make every day. However, the numbers do not prove out Obama as a failure. The successes that this president has had in the midst of our recovery is not represented and of course would not be aired on FOX is they were. The increase in the price of gas is more related to what has been happening worldwide coupled with greed the greed of speculators. The unemployment numbers however deflated would have been much worse without the steps Obama has taken since being in office. I liken this country to an hugely obese person that got that way over years, but then decides the weight must come off immediately even at the cost of increased health risks. A gradual recovery like a gradual weight loss is a much healthier, long term, solution than gastric bypass. I lost my business and most everything else in 2008. Although I am still out of work, mostly do to age discrimination, I can see we are going in the right direction. But no president could turn us around in just 4 years. Yes Obama ran on hope and change. There has been change for the better in many ways. Many of us still have hope and not because of a slogan, but because we know that when our democracy works correctly there is hope for all Americans. The plan from the time Obama was elected was to get him out of office. We have heard it since the election. If the agenda was not to get rid of him from the start and he had the support from congress that any other president would have had, we would see a lot more change for the better. No president in history has been shown such blatant disrespect. Wonder why that is. (BOO) Good work on the Video. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT 2012.
