EXCLUSIVE: Exactly a week after exiting Paradigm, actress Katherine Heigl has signed with CAA. Heigl left Paradigm following the exit of her longtime agent Norm Aladjem, who moved to Levity Entertainment Group. Heigl is a two-time Golden Globe nominee and Emmy-winning actress for Grey’s Anatomy and starred in Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up, Anne Fletcher’s 27 Dresses and Robert Luketic’s The Ugly Truth. She will next be seen starring in The Wedding with Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. She remains with attorney Stephen Barnes at Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein & Kohner.

Katherine Heigl as Princess Diana in a Princess Diana biopic? I wouldn’t put it past Hollywood…
She will be about ninth on the rom com pitch list, then they’ll get her to do an awful tv show. They must be real killers in signing meetings over there.
My thoughts? She can do anything she wants… dramas, rom-coms… and I don’t think her career is ‘limp’… she’s got babies now… so priorities do change a bit. Keep going girl.
I forgot, her massive hit list including: The Ringer, Zzzzzyx Road, Caffeine, Knocked Up, 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth and New Year’s Eve.
I don’t see how she can do anything she wants off of this portfolio.

Age appropriate? She’s early to mid 30′s ~ men are still doing frat boy, buddy comedies into there 40′s. And yes, she is a woman that has evolved and had babies. Heaven forbid she actually balance motherhood with a career. I’m not her number one fan, but the girl can open a movie. Audiences respond to her & you all need to stop being sexist bullies.

I like to think of her as the woman who had the world in her hand after Knocked up and Grey’s anatomy but then threw it back since it wasn’t good enough for her. Enjoy all your crappy rom-coms!

They promised to get her back on Grey’s Anatomy that’s what she most wants to do she regrets leaving the show. She’ll be back on for the new season they will get her a nice raise and she’ll be happy the show will go two more seasons for a total of ten and she’ll be grateful and on her best behavior.
Katherine Heigl is going to by juuuust fine. She’s an incredibly smart woman. I suspect we’ll see her start to choose a nice balance of commercial and indie fare. She needs a good love story.

She doesn’t need to be back on Grey’s. It was a nice gesture to say she wanted back considering all the badmouthing she did back in the day. The bottom line is, Katherine Heigl is still very marketable and likeable.
Looks to me like a good move for her career and CAA…way to Go!
