Chris Aronson, EVP of Twentieth Century Fox movie distribution, just issued this statement to me: “We are extremely worried about our friend and colleague Gavin Smith. I have attached the Missing Persons bulletin that we are trying to display everywhere we can. We are very concerned about Gavin and we are actively doing what we can to assist the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department in their search for him.” Smith has been missing for several days. He was last heard from on Tuesday evening. Smith is a Twentieth Century Fox veteran of 18 years and works in the Calabasas office. Here are the details:

My thoughts and prayers with his family
Sending positive thoughts his way.
This is so sad! I hope he is found safe & well…I feel for his family.
To the family, colleagues and friends of Gavin Smith … you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Let’s all hope he is found safe and sound.
Where are you Gavin
” ” bobby the saint. I hope you find Gavin! You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers
May he be found safe……..thoughts and prayers to his friends and family
From his very tan appearance and athletic style sunglasses, my hunch is that he is an outdoorsman and possibly got lost or hurt on a hike/adventure that he never told anyone he was doing? Too many people go out into the wilderness alone and then we read about their ordeal two weeks later when they’re finally found. Hopefully that is the case here and he is found soon! People, do NOT go hiking alone!!
When I heard Gavin Smith. I said that name is unique. 57 years old 6’6″
I immediately made the connection to former UCLA basketball player on last wooden championship team
When I saw the picture I emailed UCLA classmates and one responded and confirmed my hunch.
Hope they find him. Nice guy. Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family
Hunch? It’s in every report that he played for Wooden.
Praying for good nws.
Gavin is a great guy and dear friend who is known for cheering other people on with exuberance and compassion. I hope he gets home safe and sound…thoughts and prayers to his friends and especially to his family.
