Hawaii and Los Angeles proved a potent combination as the Hawaii Five-0 crossover episode of NCIS: LA (3.0/8) shot up 25% from the last original three weeks ago. NCIS: LA was the only series in positive territory last night as the rest of the shows were flat or down. NCIS: LA matched its lead-in, NCIS (3.0/8), which was even with the fast national for its last original two weeks ago, down a tenth from the final. Unforgettable (1.8/5) was flat with its last original three weeks ago, tying its series low. CBS won the night in total viewers and adults 18-49.
NBC’s The Biggest Loser had a ho-hum season closer. The hourlong finale (2.1/7) was down a tenth from last week and down 30% from last spring’s two-hour finale to rank as the veteran franchise’s lowest-rated season finale ever. The Voice‘s results show (3.1/8) also was down a tenth from last week to a series low. Fashion Star (1.5/4) didn’t get a boost from the baby news for star Jessica Simpson yesterday, down a tenth from its fast national last week and flat with the national, but the fashion reality series may be adjusted down in the finals again.
Fox’s Glee (2.4/8) was down 11% from its Whitney Houston-themed episode last week. New Girl (2.1/6) was down 19%. ABC’s comedies Last Man Standing (1.4/5) and Cougar Town (1.3/4) were both down 13% from their last originals to series lows. The Dancing With The Stars results (2.3/6) was down a tenth from last week to tie series low. Private Practice (2.1/6) was also down a tenth but is still potent, winning the 10 PM hour in adults 18-49. And when you start off with a 0.3 demo rating, it’s hard to go lower: In its second original airing. the CW’s Canadian import The LA Complex (0.3/1) matched the rating for its series premiere and encore airing last week. 90210 (0.6/2) also was steady.
