Stink, the international commercials and content company, have appointed Dominic Buchanan as their new Head of Film. He will report jointly to Stink’s Robert Herman, & Daniel Bergmann, and is tasked with producing films on their diverse slate and also bringing in new material for their talent to work and collaborate on.
Buchanan, a producer of the recently announced Un Certain Regard title, GIMME THE LOOT which also won the Grand Jury prize at SXSW, has also worked at The Weinstein Company, Universal Pictures International in acquisitions and international co-productions and more recently Qwerty Films as a development exec. He is also producing LILTING TO THE PAST which was on the Brit List 2011 and is in development with Film London.
Herman said of Buchanan’s appointment “This is a serendipitous moment for Dominic to be joining at Stink, his energy, taste and enthusiasm for great creative work is a perfect fit. We will be working conventionally and with brands to bring some innovative feature film projects to audience screens worldwide!”
