Tammy Blanchard has signed with Gersh for all areas. A TV regular, Blanchard is currently guest starring on Showtime’s The Big C with Laura Linney. On the film side, she was in last year’s Moneyball and soon will appear in the indie drama Union Square with Miro Sorvino. Blanchard just finished a stint on Broadway in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, a performance that garnered a Tony nomination. She won a Supporting Actress Emmy in 2001 for her role in Life With Judy Garland: Me And My Shadows. Blanchard is managed by Soffer/Namoff Entertainment.

I’ve been following her career for a long time. She’s a phenomenally talented actress and deserves to be a bigger star, i.e. in the category of a Julianne Moore. The industry knows and respects her; hopefully she’ll get the breakout role that wakes up the rest of the world. BTW, this is not a plant. I’m truly someone who just admires her work.
Kaykay, I agree with you! I’m a college student from NC who loves Tammy. She is absolutely riveting in everything. I can’t recommend the indie “Bella” enough!
From a ‘tv regular’ to a person wondering where all the jobs went- thats what will happen after she is at Gersh for a while
Why? Can you elaborate on what, specifically, about Gersh would diminish someone’s employability, or interfere with their ability to book jobs. I’m genuinely curious.
I too have been following her career and each time she appears in a movie or a play or a TV movie I ask myself when is this girl going to break through.
When she appeared in “Of Two Minds” on Lifetime I was floored by her spot on performance. She had me in tears.
How long does someone with this magnitude of talent have to sit in the wings before Hollywood gives her the break she deserves. Wake up Hollywood “A star is born.”
If Gersh has a strength it’s TV actresses. It’s sure not everything else.
I’m at Gersh and I’m doing fine. The agency just gets you in the door, it’s up to you once you’re inside the room.
Thank you for expressing a sane human sentiment.
I, too, have been following Ms. Blanchard’s career since Guiding Light in 98. She was amazing and brilliant then and in everything since. A Tony nom, an Emmy..the lady is doing it. Period. How nice to look forward to future successes and even better roles, for they will surely come.
