‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ Star Alana Gets Her Own TLC Reality Series

• I confess–I watch… I’m disabled and frequently bedridden, and I need a better excuse. However, the show is strangely addictive. In the beginning, it seemed like harmless trashy fun. Hey–as pathetic as I am, these folks are worse! But I’ve noticed in recent episodes it is getting more and more mean-spirited. It’s obvious the show is edited to make sure we see everyone at their worst, and you can tell they bait the parents. At first I thought the show might be a good thing, that putting such questionable treatment of children out there might force people to clean up their acts. But it’s only gotten worse. I will say the child above and her family are some of the less interesting (and less abusive) people I’ve seen. Giving your kid a Mountain Dew is not a crime, and sadly, most kids in this country are headed for obesity from the crap we feed them–if they aren’t there already. And unlike some of the folks on the show, who seem to have loads of spare cash (from what I can’t seem to figure out) these people look like they can use the money. The little girl is actually talented. I can only hope this trashy show will catch the eye of someone who can get the kid some decent work. Or maybe she can cobble together enough for a college education and stay off the pole. Will I watch this show? I’ve made a decision not to TiVo it, but there’s going to be a sleepless night when it’s on, and I won’t be able to look away…

• The saddest part about this, is that the show will probably receive great ratings due to the fact that we Americans thrive off of other peoples misery. We watch and say “well at least my life isn’t that bad”. So sad…

• Just when I thought TLC “The Low Class Channel” could get any worse. I can’t believe they have the audacity to even air this trash.

• Exploiting toddlers and dressing them and having them behave like cheap adults seems criminal. It encourages child molesters and voyureusm. So sick.

• This family is ridiculous! Teach those kids some manners! Who lets their child go on TV & pass gass more than once & condone it & your giving that child go go juice? She needs water. Look at the belly on her, she’s so gonna look like her mama. This child has 0 chance of winning any big titles. She’s just not that cute & frankly shouldn’t be up there! Way out of her league!

• To all the people who are not from the south, PLEASE!!! Do not think all southern people are that way!!!I was shocked at The mom cussing in front of the kids & doing other gross things. Not a good role model.I watched less than 15 long, long minutes of that trash and it was too much.I am from the south(not in the same state they are) thank GOD!! I could not understand a word they were saying. The kids are rude and over the top.People, should have more respect for themselves.

• I feel so sorry for the children in this show. The adults need to attend parenting classes. It is apparent that they are not looking out for the best interest of their children. These children are going to be laughed at and talked about simply because of the parents actions. I come from a rural town where I was raised to hunt and ride 4 wheelers as well and there is nothing wrong with that. I was also raised to use my manners. There are somethings that you don’t do in public. This mother should be ashamed of herself.

• I highly dislike Honey Boo Boo . The family Looks like some hill billy white trash & needs to be taken off the TLC network for real.
