After a four-year stint on the ABC/ABC Studios medical drama Private Practice, writer/producer Craig Turk is moving to CBS TV Studios with an overall deal. Under the pact, Turk, a former attorney, will serve as a consulting producer on the studios’ acclaimed CBS legal drama The Good Wife and develop his own original series for the studio. Turk spent the last four seasons on Private Practice, the last two serving as an executive producer. Before that, he worked on ABC’s Boston Legal, CBS’ Cold Case and NBC’s Law & Order. Turk, repped by Paradigm and attorney Michael Gendler, also has been politically active, working on campaigns for political candidates and ballot initiatives, including serving as Chief Counsel of John McCain’s presidential campaign in 2000.

Go Craig! Awesome guy, great writer.
Turk’s one of the good ones. Congrats!
A great writer, helluva nice guy with a surprising in-depth knowledge of rap. Kudos.
Smart move by CBS. Turk is the best.
Know him for years, a creative genius and the sweetest person. Couldn’t be happier for one of the best guys in Hollywood.
I’ve been in rooms with him – he’s a smart and talented writer!
Craig’s a nice guy, and I wish him well. But it is quite a leap to go from one of the most mind numbingly banal and pointless shows on television, to perhaps the single best and smartest drama on a broadcast network. I hope he is up to the challenge.
Yes, he is up to the challenge. That is why CBS wants him, and not people who are sitting home posting rude comments.
By far my favorite client from my assistant days in the agency world. Such a nice guy with so much talent. Love the guy.
CBS is brilliant, this man is the future of TV! Knowing him on the agency side of things, he is a definite favorite in the Paradigm office. Couldn’t happen to a better guy.
He’s one of them Republicans-Wolfs hiding in Democrat clothes! Go get em’, Hollywood!!!!
No, really, major props to Turk. The Good Wife just got greater.
Craig was my intern two consecutive summers. I knew he was destined for great things then and have been fortunate to follow his tremendous trajectory. Congrats Turk!
Can’t find a better man, he is the best. I wonder if his new series is about monkeyfish.
