Wanda de Jesus (CSI: Miami) has been cast in a multiple-episode arc on the upcoming fifth season of the FX biker drama Sons Of Anarchy. The actress, repped by Pantheon Talent and McGowan Management, will play Carla, a smart and sexy associate of Nero, played by de Jesus’ long-time off-screen partner Jimmy Smits. How fast is “Tig” going to zoom in on her? And wonder what the outcome will be. Catfight between Carla and Gemma? It will be interesting to watch…
I loved Wanda on CSI: Miami so this is wonderful news as a SoA fan. Season 5 just keeps getting better and better already! I can’t wait to see the Smits/Sagal/de Jesus interactions.
Wanda DeJesus is severly underated. Shows like CSI Miami and LOA: Los Angeles utilize her skills long enough to get attention, and then ditch her. Would be extremely interesting to see her as SVU’s newest D.A., or on any one of those new season shows that are filmed in New York and do not have a minority presence, particularly on NBC, which is beginning to look as though all new shows have been cast by Woody Allen.
