EXCLUSIVE: Dermot Mulroney has made two moves. He has signed with WME, leaving ICM Partners after a long run and an even longer one, 18 years, with agent Carol Bodie. He has also joined the cast of Jobs, the indie film about the Apple icon Steve Jobs. Mulroney will play Mike Markkula, who believes in the vision Jobs displays, but is torn between the wunderkind and the board. Scripted by Matt Whiteley and directed by Joshua Michael Stern, the film stars Ashton Kutcher as Jobs, The Book of Mormon‘s Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak, Lukas Haas as Kotke and Ahna O’Reilly as Chris-Ann Brennan. Mark Hulme and Gil Cates Jr. are producing.

Is there anyone, anyone at all, that actually cares about this project???
Seriously. Especially with Aaron Sorkin penning the other ‘Jobs’ movie.
Carol killed herself for him…and…when Greg Kinnear passed on this JOBS project she hounded them to hire Dermot….i will never think of DM the same way…
i’m sure he will loose sleep over that
I skipped my JOBS audition so I could do a cat food commercial instead.
if you are doing cat food commercials its highly doubtful that you got in on this project, “Foxy”.
@BM False
I love Dermot Mulroney. He’s a great actor. Happy to watch him anytime and anywhere.
Why did he leave Bodie if she got him the movie??
snarky comments aside-I read the script.its great.casting right on.
No agent “gets” the actor a movie. Casting knows the actor, has them on a list and calls and asks. Agents take messages. Only young agents with unknown clients need to “get” Jobs.
I wondered why Bodie even repped him. She’s way to good of a agent to rep losers like him.
is bodie a partner at icmp?
