After being with the sports network for eight years, Erin Andrews is leaving ESPN. The sports network’s VP of Communications Josh Krulewitz tweet this afternoon that “Erin Andrews leaving ESPN. She did great work for us & we made an aggressive offer to keep her. We wish her the best on her next chapter.” Andrews’ contract with ESPN expires tomorrow. Sports Illustrated reported earlier that Fox Sports was talking to Andrews about the host coming over to them. Andrews, who joined ESPN in 2004, has been the co-host of the network’s College GameDay since 2011. Andrews hasn’t actually appeared on-air for ESPN since March when she reported on a college basketball tournament. The host, who appeared on Dancing With The Stars in 2010, was also a contributor to Good Morning America, though she hasn’t appeared on the show since covering the 2011 Academy Awards.
Deadline's Dominic Patten - tip him here.

Next stop for her would probably be NBC Sports Network as that’s where Michelle Beadle is. Always thought there was way to much hype for this woman (Andrews) and over-exposed in the process.
I guess Rovell is replacing here sort of
First Michelle beadle now Andrews..ESPN will be looking for fresh female faces soon
Well, they already have hired the annoying and completely overrated Lindsey Czarniak from DC. So they already have another half wit blond in the pipeline.
Her voice is annoying. She’s obviously in the biz for the fame and attention. She should join entertainment tonight or a similar show. Obvious narcissist.
Agree about her voice being annoying. I hated it when ESPN would cut to her on the sidelines at a college football game. Glad she’s gone.
another forum for the uninformed. she turned down entertainment tonight and several other tabloids. jealousy will get you no where veritas, except on some blog where you get a chance to show the internet that you think you know what you are talking about.
Think Erin will do more for Fox than Michelle Beadle will for Nbc Sports.Beadles sole claim to fame is anchoring an afternoon espn2 talk show and shes done very little else. Either way its odd that Espn lost both of its younger, better known on air personalities.
Andrews’ looks brought on many opportunities outside of sports… But there was no “overhyping” her abilities as a on-field reporter. Erin is one of the few women in the industry with a genuine knowledge of sports, and the ability to connect with the subjects of her interviews.
From her start in Tampa Bay (covering hockey) to TBS (Braves baseball & college football) to ESPN (all sports) Andrews has proven herself as a true talent. Best of luck to her.
You’re totally her agent or assistant.
ESPN messed up by letting go of Michelle, now Erin Andrews! What’s the matter guys, don’t cha like women?!!!
ESPN didn’t want her there anymore – ‘aggressive offer’, yeah right.
Erin Andrews not as big a loss as Michelle Beadle. Andrews is quite annoying, and would not be on national TV if she was not pretty. Beadle has a much brighter future….and, unlike Andrews, had not peaked yet
ESPN is finding out that there is some real competition out there….and needs to start treating its talent better. The Bruce Feldman stuff from last year is a big stain on the network…and there was also an incident where they accused Beadle, wrongfully, of some misconduct at an ESPN event.
In all…ESPN needs some competition
Erin Andrews will be huge wherever she goes probably a big bidding war. She is a bit overrated but Beadle is even more overrated. I’m already hating the fact that she is all over NBC Sports now, couldn’t stand the bitch on SportsNation now the worst nightmare has com true with her on NBC Sports.
I hear the Today show’s looking…
Ea is sexy!
Erin thought she was bigger than the event. Lisa Salters deserved the MNF sideline reporter gig.
I agree, E.A started acting like “how did a nationally televised football game start in the middle of MY appearance”
well i guess reports were right, ESPN was not about to overpay for an aging sideline reporter with little to no talent and there was no real demand for her on the open market.
If only Chris Berman would go away
I have to concur that her voice is annoying but there is something to be said for being physically attractive; I’d rather watch her than any of the other idiotic female sideline reporters like Hannah Storm, Pam Oliver etc. who are annoying, contribute absolutely nothing to the telecast AND are unattractive to boot.
Who cares? Nobody’s going to miss her or Beadle. Both are way overrated
Andrews is talented and nice looking. Hard to find these days. I hope she does well.
Sports by Brooks tweeted Friday that Ms. Andrews will join Fox and in fact has auditioned to host the US version of “The X Factor”. Draw your own conclusions if you will.
Her talent is immense and has had enough bad experiences being in public eye. Congrats to her for furthering her career. However, she would benefit from voice lessons to tone down her pitch. I did it several years ago and it worked!
