EXCLUSIVE: Lizzy Caplan, Adam Scott, Shiloh Fernandez, Kelli Garner and David Giuntoli have followed Warren Zavala from CAA to become clients of WME. Zavala left CAA Sunday to join WME, and yesterday Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Paul Dano, Big Bang Theory‘s Johnny Galecki, Amber Heard and Mary Elizabeth Winstead followed him. There are a few more in play, but Zavala has managed to retain almost his entire client list.

Aren’t these the same clients he had before he was at caa? What new business has he signed since then and are any of them coming with him?
Guy reminds me of Brian Stern.
Thanks a lot.
these are not major clients that will hurt an agency. he is more of a servicer. his wife, fiancé whatever is at william morris anyway so it was bound to happen, two people married cannot work at competing agencies.
To my understanding, some of these clients were Toth’s clients and he worked under Toth?
Newbie question:
When a television actor with a long term gig like “Big Bang Theory” switches agencies, does the commission from that job travel to the new agency with the agent who did the deal, or does that money continue to be paid to the agency that originated the deal? And does a contract renegotiation for future seasons (or current season) by the new agency impact who gets paid what? Or will the commission revenue from that gig always travel to the originating agency (or, conversely, to the originating agent at the new agency)?
