I just fell asleep…
Good things gray-haired studio execs are making sure movies include telecommunications references. Otherwise, the kids might not show.
Whatevs.
Yes, a female, and UNFUNNY, version of Superbad!
That actually looks really fun. Reminds me of Can’t Hardly Wait — another great teen movie. Looking forward to this.
This looks great! Is someone finally read to seize he mantle of John Hughes??
i hope this is sarcastic… John Hughes would be rolling over in his grave if he read that. This looks like bad TV. Oh, I just got that.
Gee, I wonder who posted this comparison. Not the writer Max Lerner by any chance…
Said Werner: “I grew up on John Hughes films and miss those great character-based comedies that make you feel something. ‘Fun Size’ is about real characters who are smart, funny and a little bit offbeat.”
John Hughes wrote movies with heart, not giant robotic chickens dry humping cars. This is more like AMERICAN PIE than it is FERRIS BUELLER.
This is probably the kiss of death, but as a person far outside the immediate demographic…this baby boomer thought it was fun.
Thomas Middleditch (the guy who takes the oddball little brother) deserves a name drop here, for sure. He’s hilarious and will be going places without a doubt.
He deserves a name change, his parents should have shortened their last name long ago to Middle they should ditch the ditch. Cloris Leachman would have been a much bigger star if she had changed her name. It worked for Archibald Leach he changed his name to Cary Grant, had he kept his original name he never would have been as successful as he was.
perhaps… but then the name of his one man show that he occasionally does wouldn’t make much sense.
Thomas Middleditch: Littlebitch
Not a single original notion on display here. UGH.
I laughed out loud at this trailer and I’m not a demographic for this film. Hooray for non franchise films.
Adore Fake Empire, but this looks absolutely horrible. The writer should be ashamed of himself. Cash your check, bro, but you have zero talent.
One thing is for sure, Jane Levy is hilarious and stunning! WOW. All I can say is STAR.
Liked this one better with a lot more mutilations when it was called Trick R’ Treat.
I’m crossing my fingers that this is the sequel to Trick R’ Treat and most of the cast are killed off by the 3rd act.
Looks GREAT. Kudos to Paramount for making a teen comedy.
Looks cute. I’m sure my kids will go/love it.
Dreadful. And done before
Yes done before, but never by Nickelodeon. WTF?
The script, full of awful sexual jokes about a young girl’s anatomy and zero humor, reflects in this piece of garbage. Maybe it’ll eek out a profit, but even kids can tell this is bad.
The “star” Victoria Justice barely says a word and when she does it is BORING. Jane Leevy (the girl from Subguratory) steals the trailer and has all the best comedic moments. Anoybody notice? And no, I don’t rep her. Wish I did.
OMG. That was terrible.
I actually think this looks kinda great! It’s a little Superbad-lite meets a John Hughes movie. Great transition for Victoria Justice and nobody knows the audience like Josh Schwartz. Who knows but could be really good.
They got me with the giant chicken.
Damn you guys are rough. It’s a kid’s flick and it’s cute. Love the little spiderdude. Yes the red head chick steels the scenes from Victoria Justice (BTW is she someone we are supposed to know?)
we sure could use more movies like these — even if they aren’t any good. there was SO much teenage dreck in the 80′s and 90′s and lately studios are focusing on tentpole pictures – not smaller cutesy films like this.
glad to see they still make ‘em

Doesn’t look like much of a kids movie with the language and chicken joke…
Gotta love people thinking a teen comedy needs to be something its not. This movie looks good for some escapist fun.
Although no one has mentioned Chelsea Handler looks like a serious miscast as the mom. Whoever thought that would be the magic casting decision to bring in some revenue was a moron.
