I guess this is why Sony is trying to buy Dreamworks Animation. This looks abysmal.
Very witty humor. Kudos to the team that put this together, and hopefully Pixar is taking notice…
A safe haven for monsters from the worst species of humans, the tourist, is a good idea, but the execution seems to be quite broad. Not sure if I could stand two hours with this backpacking “dude”.
This looks like it’s gonna be amazing! Can’t wait.

Even animated Adam Sandler is crap.
For the past 15 years haters have hated on Adam Sandler. I saw “That’s My Boy” last weekend and laughed out loud the entire film. Sandler is a classic example of an actor who is loved by the public but rejected by critics.
I liked this a lot better when it was stop motion and called “The Mad, Mad Monster Party”. Seriously, this project has been on blocks at Sony Pictures Animation for so damn long that when it began production Sandy Rabins and Penny Finkleman Cox (they brought it into SPA before Bob Osher showed them the back side of the door) were teenagers. How many sets of directors did this thing go through before poor Gendy T. drew the short straw? I can count 6 and that’s just from watching the IMDB cast and screw page spin like a slot machine dial.
It’s THE MUNSTERS and both Addam’s Family movies.
Oh, look how funny it is to see creepy monsters forced to mingle with humans. We’ve never seen that before.
BTW — great job on the plants above. Pixar should take notice, really? Take notice of what? Uninspired character design? Totally unoriginal story? Bland, broad comedy that isn’t funny. Yes, you are correct. These are all things Pixar has failed to do.
And to people sticking up for Adam Sandler, Adam Sandler is not what’s wrong with this movie.
Three cheers for completely disposable entertainment.
I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but Hotel T looks like it’s better than Brave.
Gennnnnnnnnnnnnnnndy!
