EXCLUSIVE: Jason Mantzoukas has been set to join Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler in They Came Together, the David Wain-directed comedy at Lionsgate. Mantzoukas will play Rudd’s character’s best friend. Wain wrote the comedy with Michael Showalter, about a small business owner about to lose her shop to a big corporate development.
Mantzoukas, who stars in The League, was most recently seen opposite Sacha Baron Cohen and Anna Faris in The Dictator. He’s separately developing a feature at Imagine. He’s represented at UTA, Mosaic and Morris Yorn.

One of the funniest guys out there…
Good. This guy is hilarious. I hope more roles come his way soon.
Hearing that Mantzoukas is in the movie already has me laughing … congratulations, Jason!
Raffi is the funniest sleazebag on television.
Does anyone know if this is going to be an “ethnic” role?
IMHO, he’s so much stronger when he’s not having to play a middle-easterner. He’s hilarious & doesn’t deserve to be stuck in some stereotype roll.
Worked with Jason on NTSFSDSUV. Brilliant brilliant comic improvisor, CONGRATS!
