Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon is joining the cast of Paranoia, the Robert Luketic-directed adaptation of the Joseph Finder novel, with IM Global controlling international distribution territories and Relativity Media releasing in the U.S. He’ll play the role of Meechum. Already set are Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford, and Amber Heard. McMahon was last seen in Red. He’s repped by WME and ROAR. In Paranoia, a boss blackmails his young employee to spy on a rival company. Alexandra Milchan of Emjag Prods., Scott Lambert of Film 360 and Deepak Nayar are producing. IM Global and Reliance are financing the film.

This is a great script. Robert will do a nice job with it. Julian McMahon is an odd choice to add to such a high caliber cast. He doesn’t have that “star factor” … lacks big screen appeal.

Julian is an excellent actor and had huge sex appeal. Although he will always remain handsome, there are young studs on the horizon. He will need a transformation of image and audience appeal. Needs some depth character parts to highlight his skills.
You must be one of those people that just judges people without really knowing the facts. Julian is amazing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but put julian up against liam hemsworth. I’m sure you think liam has more chops then julian lmao
