Looks sexy! Looking forward to checking this out!
Not bad.
Great. Another vampire movie.
Love the pic. Very classy, and Lindsay looks great. But I want to see Grant’s face!!! Why deny us!
Something tells me the makers of Adobe Photoshop is going to win their first Emmy for Making LiLo look That human.
I thought Bowler was a werewolf?
Emmy for LiLo
I love it! Getting excited.
Ha! Team Richard!
Ummm..Lindsay as Elizabeth is clearly a practical joke of some sort. As for the title itself? Is anyone aware that she HATED being called Liz? Really, this is merely a spoof of two of the most beautiful people ever to be in the industry. Sad, sad, sad.
THANK YOU! Someone else knows this! She did hate being called Liz and Richard hated being called Dick! I don’t understand why they called the movie this!
And why is there a 20-year age gap between Lilo and Grant Bowler when there was only a 7-year difference between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton?
Years of cigarettes, booze and coke bridge that age gap.
Gotta agree with the reply from Anonymous, Anonymous.
To recreate Burton’s distinctive look, casting required either…
(1) Having to find a young actor in Lohan’s age range, but who has a craggy faced, “older than he looks”, weather-worn face OR…
(2) Simply casting a much older guy (which the average viewer won’t notice) where age has taken some of its natural toll — and thus gives the actor that distinctive Burton look.
In terms of Hollywood casting, seems to me that Option #2 would be a lot easier to do.
Have to admit, she looks great!
Poor Liz is spinning in her grave so fast that there’s a sinkhole in Burbank.
Sadly, black and white Photoshop can’t mask for someone having absolutely NO talent. This entire fiasco is a slap in the face to the legacy that is Elizabeth Taylor. Sigh.
I don’t think I agree; LL has talent. She may not be THERON or of that gravitas, but she has chops. It seems to me those moments, if a director can really get her to produce, she could leave a lot of unbelievers behind. I am more than willing to give her a chance. I have felt for some time the kid needs to rewind, become a woman, cut her friggin hair to a long, elegant bob, dye it and then work. Shake off that blonde party bimbo image.
Lindsay went back to being a redhead months ago.The blonde hair was a wig, how could you not tell ? Bangs, different texture from her natural hair, etc. A “Bob” is not long and she will be wearing several wigs as Elizabeth Taylor, there is no need for her to dye her own hair. How can a person use “gravitas” and “friggin” in the same comment ?
Lindsay will make Miss Taylor proud and redeem herself with this project.
I know she was a cute teen that grew into a very troubled young woman, but there’s still a part of me — basically, the part that remembers just how personable she was in her earlier films — that’s rooting for her. This project seems like a great way to prove herself yet again.
And on the one hand, I’d like to think I’d be a good guy and root for anyone trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild their life…on the other hand, I gotta admit that I’m rooting for her because I think she’s totally HOT.
Holy crap, she looks FANTASTIC in that photo!
Can’t wait to see more future stills and the film itself.
I’m the cynic who thinks cynics got bowls with too many damned cherries in them but I gotta admit – this photo is AWESOME. That said, I’m doubting that this can be something that won’t suck — but hell, if L.L. can nail Elizabeth’s odd, non-regional accent and more importantly, that dirty laugh – well, this will be the stuff of legend. I’m now in the ‘holy shit, this could maybe work’ state of mind.
No-one can carry off Burton’s magentism or gravitas so whoever gets the job will manage a caricature at best. This one will crash faster than a lead zeppelin…
