EXCLUSIVE: With her pivotal cameo in the final minutes of the Revenge freshman-season finale that threw a wrench into Emily Thorne’s budding romance with Jack Porter, it is no surprise that we will be seeing more of Amanda Clarke next season. Margarita Levieva, who plays the troubled girl that once switched identities with Emily/Amanda (Emily VanCamp), has closed a deal to appear in a minimum of seven of the first 14 episodes of Revenge‘s second season. Levieva, who started off as a guest star on the show last season, ended up doing a total of 10 episodes. She is with UTA and the Collective.

The thing is… I really like her as an actress. I liked her very much on the first season of How To Make It In America and I liked her on that bad Ashton Kutcher’s movie. I hate her on Revenge though. The character is bad and her acting can’t do much to help.
listening to her voice is unbearable. it’s like she’s speaking through a whiskey barrel underwater with 1940s inflections for utterly no reason. just kill her off please. Revenge is better without her.
Margarita’s acting skills – nill. Unfortunately, she brings an undesirable amateur style, which has nothing to do with the rest of the cast excellent performance. She does not belong there.
I know her character is spilt between fans… but I actually really like her. Her character is really fun, she’s bitchy and I like the fact that she amps up the drama by creating problems for Emily. When her plans start to unravel it makes for great addictive drama.
She’s a solid actress who tackled some challenging dialogue – it’s nice to see a delicious bad girl keep the others on their toes – glad to see her back in action – given that they have asked her back, the writers are bound to make her character more solid than the 1st season
When she first appeared in Adventureland, I thought wow, she has a good look and can play a supporting character well and she’ll get more work. Unfortunately, she’s not convincing on Revenge and just comes off stoic and bland. I cringed when I saw her return in the finale.
Well… kind of knew she would return after that finale…but I hope she gets gone after those 7 episodes.
I want her to stay, FOR THE DURATION, as long as she gets to lounge around in that string bikini! And shes not a bad actress, either, esp to pull off such a tough role-you have to hate her, yet respect her, and sympathize with her too-YOU try pulling off a trifecta such as that! AND to look hot in swimwear to boot!
I think she is great. It might be just the way that she plays Amanda, but her character is so emotionally complex. She seems so conflicted; She loved Emily and wanted to do good, but she also has a dark side. I hope that the writer’s do her character justice and keep her on the show for a much longer duration!
