Radius-TWC co-presidents Tom Quinn and Jason Janego have hired Liza Burnett Fefferman to the post of EVP Publicity and Heath Shapiro to be VP Marketing and Distribution. You’ll recall that last fall, former Magnolia execs Quinn and Janego were tapped by Harvey Weinstein to form a new multi-platform distribution operation. The company’s first release is Bachelorette, the bawdy film about three girls who engage in a night of prenuptial debauchery that threatens to ruin their friend’s wedding. The film made its debut at Sundance and it is very edgy. Radius-TWC acquired it after the festival. It will be released VOD on August 10 and theatrically September 7. Among their other early acquisitions is the Nicolas Winding Refn-directed Ryan Gosling-starrer Only God Forgives.

“Liza and Heath bring a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of film distribution and are going to be invaluable additions to our one-of-a-kind film label. We can’t imagine two better executives to lead our distribution efforts,” said Quinn and Janego.

Fefferman will oversee and execute PR campaigns for all of the label’s films in addition to handling corporate. Shapiro will oversee marketing and distribution strategies across all platforms.

Said Fefferman: “As a multi-platform distributor, RADiUS is poised to become a leader in the changing landscape of film distribution, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”
