There were no NBA Finals on TV last night, but there was some onscreen action with Justin Bieber passing out in Paris. Having said that, NBC’s one hour Justin Bieber: All Around The World (0.9/3) didn’t exactly score for the network. The first of two specials starring the Canadian superstar was down 47% from the network’s comparable Adele: Live In London (1.7/5) special on June 3. Bieber pulled in 3.3 million viewers overall. On Fox, the two-hour Las Vegas callbacks of So You Think You Can Dance (2.4/8) from 8-10 PM was down 4% from last week. The network took the night in the adults 18-49 demo and total viewers (6.52 million).
It was “Movie Night” on ABC’s Duets (1.1/4), but the new singing competition series was flat with last week, staying at season lows. Repeats of The Middle (1.0/4), Suburgatory (1.0/4) and Modern Family (1.6/5) filled the early part of primetime.
CBS had a new Dogs In The City (1.0/4) at 8 PM. The urban reality series was down 9% from last week. Repeats of Criminal Minds (1/3/4) and CSI (1.4/4) followed. After Justin Bieber, NBC had double repeats of Law & Order: SVU at 9 PM (0.8/2) and 10 PM (0.9/3).

it seems with the economy in the hopper and staycation’s the norm nbc can do better than a justin bieber ride along.
Looks like Bieber fever has broken.
Did NBC really think Justin would be as big as Adele ? She is a great singer, writer . Bieber , not so much. Hes not his generations Elvis for sure .And except for tweens who else would be watching anyway ?
I have nothing against Justin. Heck everyone had that tween heart throb that we put on our walls. But I am so tired of everything being marketed to children. Children that change what they love on a whim. I think NBC forgot that these children don’t watch TV. They would have done better putting it on Youtube or some ipad/ipod or whatever.
Justin Bieber is so last year!
NBC should have aired a One Direction special!!
Amazing and what a surprise, isn’t it folks? Reality shows of all kinds tanked last night because people have just about had it with this kind of crap and wanting something different to watch. Whatever the hell NBC was thinking when they aired that stupid Dweeber show is beyond comprehension and they failed as a result, like NBC always does, finishing 5th last night with Univision included in these ratings. As for Dogs, CBS needs to KOed it and Duets is failing even worse than predicted on ABC. Again, enough of these shows already and come up with something original for once.
If someone so heavily marketed tanked that way, reason suggests he was always running on empty.
It’s over, Justin. It’s all about One Direction now.
The Jonas Brothers saved you a spot behind them in the unemployment line. LOL.
Please God when will this Reality show nightmare phase end?
The industry can do better, I know it can!
NBC didn’t even PROMOTE the Justin Bieber show. Hell, the only reason I caught it was because my Directv DVR was set to record “Up All Night”. DirecTV didn’t even have it updated!
As great as Adele is do you really think she will be a legendary singer in 20 years?
