Here are five clips released by Universal to promote Oliver Stone’s new film Savages with cast members Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Salma Hayek, Benicio Del Toro and Blake Lively. The movie is set to open in the U.S. on July 6. The first video features Johnson, with the rest on the jump.

The TV spots with the Eminem track are fantastic! They have been running everywhere, including on all the NBA playoff games.
The trailer which played on Prometheus is great and the crowd I saw it with loved it.
These are just viral ads…they’re fine. Blake’s is the best.

This might be the only dark/sexy/thinker of the summer.
Haven’t read the book. But based on the trailer, where a botanist and his army buddy wipe out an entire crew of cartel guys, it’s looking less like a thinker and more like Point Break with gravitas.
I’m still interested, though.
The book is pretty fantastic. I’m not sure how they’ll translate it to film, and Stone hasn’t made a good movie in a really long time.
Looks terrible. Has to be about 20 years since Oliver Stone has made something worth watching.

Isn’t Taylor Kitsch supposed to be in character – even if sort of – in this video? Because he looks a little boring, all so-what-whatever… isn’t his character supposed to be a badass?
Two pasty pothead kick ass on an entire Mexican cartel. Yet another movie to appeal to the pathetic power fantasies of puerile white males. Aren’t the endless superhero movies enough?
