Too funny … can we get one of these each Friday?
Actually, it was a special kind of terrible.
If any other company made a video like this, sophomoric white guys cracking jokes about their lack of diversity and banging the weak female interns, they’d have boycotts through the roof.
Next time Ari wants to get all preachy about Mel Gibson, someone remind him of this video. Where do you think that type of behavior comes from?
The big question is, why? So unbearably lame.
it’s an internal video for fun. relax.
Think of it as a motivational tool for tools.
This was horrible. Not funny and the casual racism must have made the few people of color in attendance queasy.
Well, um, the production values were good…
and, yes, there was an honest chuckle or two in four minutes of my life i will never get back. Like the Cuse cameo best. Seems like a nice guy.
See what happens when you let a client who’s an actual comedy writer write your sketch instead of some non-creative assistant.
“Don’t worry, I’ll just use 10% of her.”
Agents really do got it all.
Yeah, that was pretty bad. Was this supposed to be “so not funny, it’s funny”?
Good concept, poor execution.
Oren Kaplan directs funny shit. I’ve followed his web work over the last couple years. His lead actor from Modern Day Jesus was even in it! good stuff.
Terrible. Re-confirms my belief that all agents are douchebags.
Even scarier than Entourage. And the diversity line was disgusting. Thanks for reaffirming the sexist and racist nature of Hollywood (esp agencies).
Exactly! That anyone would find such blatant racism funny just shows how out of touch WME is. They actually thought sharing this crap with the public would make them hip? Idiots.
Overall, I despise WME. The video wasn’t funny to me, but it was to relieve stress. To have fun…Whatever you want to call it. WME, as much as I loath most of the agents there, is not out of touch. The truth is everyone needs to relax. What’s the big deal? Everyone is too PC and all the Obama lovers make me sick. Clooney and the rest of them have no idea what is really going on. Relax. It’s a joke. Some may think it’s funny and others won’t.
There’s a reason CAA is on top. They might be cold and feared and generally asshole-ish, but they don’t embarrass themselves by having agents run around like frat boy monkeys in meaningless showbiz-centric videos. Pathetic.
how’s it working at CAA Danny?
haha! as if we needed further proof that CAA people have a stick up their ass. no sense of humor or creativity… that’s why they are going downhill and losing people left and right. im sorry you work there.
A waste of time and Carlton Cuse. Yeah, he got to punch someone, too bad he couldn’t “punch-up,” this dreadful material.
Literally the worst joke anyone has ever written.
In what world do you live in that has CAA better than WME in TV. Man UTA has a better TV Lit department than CAA, stick to movies and sports homie.
UTA is still an agency?
You are so cool.
this was terrible, can i get those 4 minutes back
We are pretty sick of the WME self Promotion
They and their clients should just shut up and do the work..I know you might not show this but this is how so many people are beginning to feel
Lets see – Un funny jewish joke? Check. Un fanny black joke? Check. Unfunny sexist joke(s)? Check(s).
Tone deaf? Check.
Unable to proofread petty commentary? Check
The comment wasn’t petty. It was accurately pointing out the bigotry on display here.
Better do a third one. There were one or two clients whose name you forgot to drop.
this clip is so WRONG on so many levels ….
There is a reason they are agents and not talent. Or in this case, many reasons.
Not funny and nothing about Deadline.
The Miles Fisher videos are wayyyy better!!!!
Second that!
This was truly hilarious: great concept, well written, artfully executed. We really loved it. Very funny video. Anderson and Anderson
This is seriously tone-deaf and embarrassing, esp considering the economy and the unemployment rate in LA. No wonder this industry is struggling if this is what agents choose to do in their spare time.
Yeah, gotcha. Nobody should have any fun!!
U R LAME
This was the “John Carter” of extraordinarily bad inside-joke 4 minute agent movies.
ah, what about the scene where the producer who’s been fucked over by WME’s ineptness and had to shell out an extra $50,000 in legal comes in with a semi-auto 12 gauge and gets payback? i hope this POS video helps the WEEMIES (new word, just copyrighted), get off at night.
The best was showing how the agents are tools (especially David Stone). No acting needed there. And to Anonymous saying “it’s an internal video for fun. relax”, exactly ya dumbass, its an internal video and should stay there and act as a reminder what tools they really are.
Low rent.
Why is everyone so bitter? It’s a simple, funny video. There are worse ways to spend 4 minutes.
Yeah… Ummm…. No bitterness here. That was just by all counts objectively horrible.
Very funny much better than all the others they wasted time doing.
