Holy shit, Owen Wilson was spot on! Hahahaha
The last line is the best. Woody Allen movies always seem as if they were built on a different planet, where people who don’t have to work for a living have time to intellectually agonize over trivialities and infidelities.
Zefnafel,
I love Woody Allen and his movies, and even I think you’re absolutely right. That last line made me laugh out loud.
Hilarious. Great impressions of all three actors. I bet Woody would get a kick out of it.
agreed. those spot on impressions are what made it so funny.
Oh My God, that just purely sucked. They wish they were 1/1000th as brilliant, insightful, and funny as MIdnight in Paris.
Oh Mikey D, don’t we ALL wish we were 1/1000th as brilliant, insightful, and funny as MIdnight in Paris.
It was a good movie Mike, but it wasn’t the end all be all. I hear if you watch a lot of them, they get rather repetitive.
Also, I can’t feel badly for someone who’s married to his adoptive daughter.
There is no point getting defensive. This video isn’t saying Midnight in Paris is terrible, it’s just giving a funny critique on Woody Allen’s various consistencies.
Hilarious – and spot on!
i wanted to laugh. i needed to laugh. but, other than the owen wilson impersonation, it was meh.
Not a very good Woody. The others were better, but I’ve seen much superior comedy at Groundlings “scene nights” from students. It just didn’t have a very good hook to the bit.
The impressions were all spot on and pretty funny, I’ll give them that. I just wish they could spoof things that desperately need it like… oh… Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter? *throws up*
Michael D: just because a movie spends most of its time making you feel good for knowing the famous writers it mentions doesn’t make it brilliant. It was a crap movie in every aspect.
Points for the Bix Beiderbecke joke.
Funny stuff.
Hey, something from FOD that’s not “Die.” Well done!
That wasn’t ‘Die’?! Holy Shit it was awful… and it sure as hell wasn’t ‘Funny’.
They didn’t get one thing (of the many things) that is actually spoofable about Woody Allen or Woody Allen’s films or Woody Allen’s recent European films. Sorry, that was a Die for me.
it was really well done and funny!
I’ll give you that it was done…. but that’s it.
I love Woody Allen, and I loved this spoof…
Woody Allen has more comedic talent in his big toe than all of the FOD guys have in their entire bodies.
The guy looked more like Joe Pa than Woody.
That blew dog. Mildly amusing impersonations but no funny in the least.
That was most enjoyable. Was a huge fan 30 years ago. Now, you couldn’t pay me to sit through another one.
Very funny indeed! The critic quotes could have have been better…
Is that all they could come up with? Really? How sad.
The Owen Wilson impression, however, was pitch perfect, including every annoying sputter and every irritating little twitch from this overrated actor.
